Location is perfect in Mission Bay and close to the ocean. Easy to get on the highway to get to town or any other San Diego attractions. They have their own beach on the Bay with chairs and umbrellas. The room is simple but comfortable. Bathroom is outdated but clean and functional. They also have their own restaurant. Prices on the high end, but good food and service. Great surroundings with a beautiful garden and three seals in their own pool.

Really there is nothing we did not like. They did not make the room after the first day, but it did not matter. They were not responsible for the morning fog! They had a convention and a marriage, but it did not bother the other guests as the property is so vast.

Location was great. It was walking distance from beaches, shops, and restaurants. It was a beautiful resort. Staff was friendly and was overall a great experience. There was plenty to do within the resort itself. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Definitely a family friendly resort, which is what we were looking for.

It was a great place, only feedback was that there was ants in the room. They were minor and would appear randomly, but that made us paranoid with leaving stuff lying around or leaving food on the counter. Other than that, it was great. They were willing to accommodate and change our room but we decided to stay since we had already settled in. I do wish that atleast a continental breakfast would be included for the price.

I love the bay front hotel options on the property. My room had a beautiful view and I enjoyed viewing that everyday. The property is in a great location, and it’s close to either walk to drive to other areas to eat or entertainment.

The room was pretty dated, I think it could use a more modern touch. It would look nice to see a modern classy look, or maybe even modern boho type of style. My lamps felt like they were breaking apart, one of my lamps didn’t even work in the room. Also. The restaurant that’s on the property could offer a bit more variety with their food options. Not enough versatile food on the menu.

Beautiful location, all the staff were super friendly. Great drinks and food. Lot of fun activities to do. We paddle boarded in the bay.

The rooms were just a little out dated and don't really match the beauty of the area. Also I requested a bottle of champagne to have in our room when we arrived. We arrived early so made it a point to mention it again and check in and I was told it's all sorted. The bottle wasn't in the room so I had to call for it, they said someone's on the way, we waited 30 mins and then just left because we wanted to explore. It was there when we got back but it was disappointing.

Our stay at Bahia Resort Hotel was absolutely perfect, making this family trip truly unforgettable. Located on the beautiful Mission Bay, the hotel offers a serene and picturesque environment. The room was spacious, cozy, and thoughtfully designed, with stunning views of the bay that made our stay even more relaxing. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, providing exceptional service from check-in to check-out. Overall, Bahia Resort Hotel is a fantastic destination for a family getaway, and we can’t wait to return to this paradise!

The restaurant is too high end. Fancy food. Not conducive to families.

The location is excellent, the amenities are great, the pool, the garden, the sea lions, the beach, it’s a beautiful property.

The carpet looked pretty bad in the room, last time I stayed here the two boats ran back and forth between the Bahia and the Catamaran so guests could go back and forth, I was really disappointed that boats were not doing that during my stay, as a matter of fact, I noticed the boats didn’t move the entire time during my stay, that was a big reason I wanted to stay here and I feel let down not having been able to ride the boats.

I was happy when the checkin staff upgraded us because there was an issue with our booking. He took into consideration we had two small babies with us and gave us a room with a kitchenet and a good view because I had mentioned I love nice views. We had stayed in another hotel for 3 days and wish we had spent the whole time at the Bahia. They also gave us a timetable of all the events they had going on, it was great to enjoy with my two year old, he loved the crafts by the pool.

When we went to the restaurant, it seemed as though we were given a more expensive menu and when we said we were going to go elsewhere because we just wanted a burger, they then brought the other menu over. We didn’t like that especially because we had an expensive week already because are staying here due to an issue with our home, not due for a vacation.

I liked that the room was clean and well kept. I loved that the room provided a mini fridge, coffee pot, microwave and even a toaster. Plates, cups and silverware was also available for our use. There was laundry on site which was a pleasant surprise. It was very nice having a heated pool and jacuzzi! We were able to go swimming despite of the weather being a little cold. I have already recommended this resort to my friends and family and plan on returning soon!

The sliding door was a little hard to open and close. The patio was not remodeled like the rest of the room. Other than this, no other dislikes.

I decided to have a stayacation at the Bahia Resort for Labor Day weekend. The staff was very courteous and helpful during our stay. I had a clean, comfortable room on the bottom floor that allowed direct access to the private beach. The seal exhibit and private garden were a nice treat with rental items available for water activities. I didn't get an opportunity to enjoy the ferry because there was no availability. Overall, my daughter and I had a great time and will be back again soon!
