Location is excellent. It is just a few blocks from Little Italy so a short walk over for lots of restaurant choices. Right across the street is a park with a very fun playground for the kids. It is only a block from the harbor through the park. It is also just a 10 minute walk from Seaport Village (or one could take the tram, which is right by the hotel). Although the tram is right there it didn't bother us at all.

I wish there was a little more storage in the room (e.g. a chest of drawers) where I can put our clothes out instead of living out of our bags. The heated pool is nice although a Jacuzzi would've been even better. The gym is small, feels a bit claustrophobic.

Great location. Very close to a trolley station, near the bus that takes you to the airport, very close to restaurants and cafes in Little Italy

Overall, the facilities are well kept. The pool is a bit small, so I would not recommend this hotel if you are looking to spend a lot of time in the pool. The elevator is being renovated so it can be a hassle sometimes, with guests waiting the single operating elevator, but it’s understandable given the situation.

Excellent location, Clean, Friendly staff, Coffee and tea available most of the day in the reception plus basic coffee machine on the room, Really easy checking and checkout, Very comfortable beds.

Breakfast was basic and majority prefabricated food. Cleaning of the room not daily but every other day. Price for parking 40$, bit expensive. It could’ve been a good idea to have an insulated jug of milk by the coffee area instead of those small prepacked milks which were a headache for some who does milky coffee 😅

Location! Walking distance to just about everything! Liked having Greek yogurt available for breakfast! Rooms were clean and neat!

Didn't like the doors in the front being closed in the morning. I understand why they do it, but it's a bit inconvenient! Good breakfast but would prefer a few more gluten free options like Cheerios as cereal which are gluten free for a quick grab and go. Wasn't aware they cleaned every other day - didn't mind but would have preferred to know that.

The location was great, like that there was coffee and complementary bfast as you are rushing out in the morning and the room was comfortable and clean. The staff was nice and helpful.

The breakfast needs a bit more fresh items, eating prepackaged foods for bfast for a week is tough but we also understand that this is typical of a continental bfast. The only complaint we have is that one of the elevators jumps when it starts and when it stops and feels like it needs to be serviced - it made us a bit nervous riding in it and everyone riding with us made the same comments.

We loved Alexandra & Marisol!!! Alexandra made our stay exceptionally great! She was very pleasant, kind and made us feel so welcomed our 1st time to San Diego! We'll definitely be back. Omg the the breakfast was so beautiful and delicious 😋. Bullseye for families and children! Everyone was happy, smiling and beyond satisfied. Thank you Anna B. The location of the hotel is in the heart of the city. Upon arrival at the hotel, the staff quickly and efficiently took care of us by assigning a room. Breakfast at the hotel very tasty and varied, as for American breakfasts. There was always coffee available on site - for 24 hours. Traveling in the US, I left one suitcase at the hotel for safekeeping and picked it up without any problem after 2 weeks. In addition, I ordered various items from Amazon services and the hotel also stored them for me to pick up on arrival.

The Employee wrongly informed me that the shipment I ordered through Amazon service did not get to the hotel (tall man, long dark hair, dark complexion) - 01/27/24 (afternoon hours). However, eventually another Employee helped identify the package. At times it was quite noisy due to the train crossing adjacent to the hotel.

The breakfast was not as expansive as at other Hampton Inns, but I did see afterwards that it is described on the website as continental, vs. eggs, potatoes sausage etc. so that's on me. The super helpfulness of the staff to accommodate an additional night's stay was wonderful. Flight cancellations cause me some stress but the Hampton staff helped reduce that tremendously. Thank you!

The trolly and the train behind the hotel was irritating but they close down during the late evening/early morning so it was tolerable.

I booked this room for my boyfriend's birthday and it was beautiful. It had an area off the street where you can pull in before checking into your room. They provide your room key that is also required to get into the building as well as the parking garage. When we walked into the room you can smell how clean it was which was really refreshing. It was literally a 7 minute walk to Littly Italy where we had dinner at Nonnas. So yummy! One downfall was the train honking at night but after midnight it stopped. They did have a sign up at the front desk that warned you about it. But it was an amazing stay!

The location was perfect. Even though the breakfast area was under renovation , the food was plenty and excellent . Our room was large to accommodate 4 people plus an excellent view where we could see the cruise ships across the road. The bed were so comfortable.

We really can't complain about anything . We were happy to stay there as well as our family who stayed across from our room. Will definitely come back to this hotel. The staff were always very helpful.
