The hotel is centrally located. If you want to be in the middle of all the action this place is a great option as you will be surrounded by bars and restaurants. The room was perfect, tasteful and comfortable with all necessary amenities.

The check-in was a bit stressful. The information received to be able to self-check-in wasn't complete at first so we had to call to get further instructions. This took quite a while to resolve. The response time was very slow.

The general location is very noisy until very late at night. My room was on the third floor at the back so I had very little street noise at all and that made the stay MAGIC ... BIG party at the front (a few seconds away) and blissfully quiet in the room when you were ready to sleep

I can't fault anything. The wifi password wasn't available when I entered, but that took less than 5 minutes to fix.

If you’re looking to be in the heart of the gas lamp, there probably is no Better place to stay. Unassuming from the outside; we had a whole apartment to ourselves, that was spacious and comfortable, clean and modern. Definitely will be booking this place again next time I’m in San Diego. Literally between all the bars and the nightlife, a few blocks down from Perco park. Thank you Sonder, I’ve been using your properties and services more and more as I travel the states.

Location right in the gaslamp quarter, convenient to the convention centre and anywhere in San Diego downtown. Ear plugs were provided to shut out the party outside.

Location is perfect in the heart of the Gaslight district right near great restaurants and entertainment. Close to transport and activities. Perfect for Comic-con!

The room was located above a busy bar, it didn’t bother my friend at all but it did make it a little hard for me to fall asleep. The hotel did provide earplugs for this reason so I still had a good sleep but I wish this aspect was slightly better advertised as I wasn’t expecting it. The air conditioning was also very loud so bring good earplugs if you plan to stay here.

Everything was amazing, so much space, loved the living room area and the view was great! so much space!

the only thing is the noise from the Pub downstairs at night. the bedroom is right above it so we had to sleep on the pull out couch one night and then use the earplugs and wave machine to cancel out the noise the other two nights.

Location was in the middle of the Gaslamp and very convenient for our stay loved everything about the property easy to access , no one bothered us and the room was very nice and tidy

The accessibility to the hotel (use of codes) and that we were close to everything. Plus having a kitchenette and small living room area. Love that everything was electronic.

Just a very loud area because of being in the middle of the Gaslamp Quarter. Other than that there was nothing else we didn't like. 😊

First of all, the apartment was very very clean. Kudos for the cleaners! I also loved how it was decorated, really nice and cosy. The fact that you can stream your own netflix on the big televison is very cool. How neat the cutlery was stored in a wooden tray in a drawer says all about the amount of attention they give to detail! How you think about the location depends on where you're from. It is in the middle of a street that has a big 'spring break' vibe. Lots of clubs and bars that go on till late. Coming from a city myself I do not mind, but if you're from a more rural area you might find it a bit overwhelming. For all the Europeans that like a decent cup of coffee, the Cuban place next to the entrance of the building has fantastic real coffee from a proper espresso machine ánd great home made cakes! There outside area is perfect to sip your coffee while watching al that's going on in the street. The apartment is on 5th avenue that is very central near the trams and bus stops that can bring you anywhere in and around San Diego. Visit Balboa Parc in the weekend!

My apartment was on the 4th floor on the back of the building, seemingly directly under the big ventilator connected to the restaurants downstairs. This machine creates a thick low humming noise the whole day through. However, Sonder provides good working ear plugs that helped me through the first night. The 2nd night I was already used to it and barely noticed the hum any more.
