We have stayed here several times and always have a great stay! It's a little bit of a dated motel but if you're just looking for a nice clean place to stay with friendly service and an amazing location, then you really can't go wrong here. Debra at the front desk is lovely and always nice to see!

The walls are a little thin so if you're a super light sleeper then your neighbors might bother you a bit. If you're not picky, then you're probably good!

We've stayed here a few times now. Lady that runs it is always polite, and the rooms are always clean .it's in a descent area of town. And the room has fridge and microwave which comes in handy

I would say it needs updated floors. The walls are kinda thin, so if someone is sraying next to you or outside you may hear them if they are a little loud .

We spend two nights. It is close to Cal Poly. The bed was comfy, and the high ceiling made the room feel incredibly spacious. The bathroom featured shampoo, body soap, and nice towels. There was a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. It was a perfect for a simple stay.

You can hear the sounds from the next room.

All I needed was an inexpensive hotel room as a base of operations for exploring the SLO area (bed, hot shower, fridge for my breakfast shakes). I got that and more. The shower was new and had plenty of water pressure. The bathroom was as clean as any I've seen in a hotel--and the window opened (better than a fan, if you know what I mean). The room was spacious (although it had only one bed--two beds might make a room feel less spacious). The back and front windows both opened, so I got some great cross breezes at night (no need to run the AC, even though it was available). The innkeeper was friendly and hospitable. I could walk downtown within 15 minutes (=free parking!), and I could drive to Morro Bay or Montaña de Oro State Park within about 20 minutes. Yes, the motel is older (linoleum in the bathroom), and they don't serve breakfast. But the money I saved would have bought me a restaurant breakfast with dollars to spare, and does it really matter whether the bathroom is tiled or has linoleum? Not to me. This is just what I needed. And the price was great.

The motel sits on a street that gets a fair amount of foot, bicycle, and car traffic, so leaving the window open at night may prove a bit too noisy for some people. The pillows are acceptable, but not the most comfortable I've ever had in a hotel.

The villa motel is a fantastic value. It’s a cute locally run motel in a perfect location. The rooms were very clean, heater/AC worked, shower water got hot quick. It met every expectation we had given the price!

You pay a daily housekeeping fee but you don’t get daily service without asking. Not enough staff.

Nicely painted, clean, nice room, comfortable bed, lots of windows, good A/C, nice bathroom with hand-shower and plenty of hot water, great value and handy to freeway, food, gas station, and Cal Poly. Veteran’s Memorial made a nice grassy walking area behind the motel.

One of the bedside lamps didn’t turn off so I had to unplug it. Even though there was only one other room occupied when I arrived, we were put right next to each other and the man stayed on his phone out there for hours. As a woman staying solo it made me uncomfortable.

The lady who runs the place is an absolute sweetheart (as is her big dog). The 101 in both directions is on/off easily accessible. there are many restaurants, bars and mini marts within walking distance. It is an older hotel, but well kept up (everything in room worked) and charming.

Nothing, it fit the bill perfectly.

Just as great as last year. Location is perfect and you can walk to everything. Very clean, comfortable, 100% recommend staying here!

Only thing is it could use some renovations for holes, pealing, etc. small stuff.

The stay was nice but I stay every week and I don't get no discounts for my stays from booking .com or the hotel I'm going have to find some thing 88 dollars is to much
