Rooms and casino very nice.

Staff at front desk and restaurant need major improvement. Checking in ok. Checking out stood in front of person no response. Wanted to eat at restraurant couldn't find anybody to seat me. No kidding! I stood their for a good ten minutes. I finally left.

I loved the atmosphere to surroundings the mountains the tap was great the food was great a lot of things to do in Central City the casino was awesome they played really good music as well and fine problem which helped the atmosphere the only complaint I have was the beds were hard as rock and the pillows were so used that they did not even giving you three pillows for bed they were not comfortable for your head I woke up with a neck ache and my back hurt real bad because of the bed was so uncomfortable other than that it was very clean nice view really I that's the only thing I have to complain about if anything otherwise my state was awesome

We found our stay at the Grand Z to be very enjoyable.

Unfortunately, the service at the restaurant and the coffee shop left much to be desired. The restaurant ran out of breakfast toast; the advertised photos of the meals didn't match reality, and service was prolonged. Additionally, the service at the coffee shop was very disappointing (we were basically ignored), and to advertise/serve Starbucks coffee and not accept the Starbucks reward app program could be a perceived form of false advertising. Lastly, it appeared that our room had not been vacuumed before our stay. The carpet throughout the room needed a thorough vacuuming.

Parking was easy with quick access into the building. Check-in was fast and a good explanation of the facility was provided. Room was spotlessly clean and smelled good. Everything worked as it should. Bed was very comfortable. Complimentary coffee offered down a little ways from the hotel desk--appreciated.

My only down-side was that the shower's hot water was a bit scarce: started off warm--but not hot, then went to luke-warm, and finally back to good-and-warm but not hot. However it was OK for a good shower--not that big a deal. The sink produced very hot water while I shaved (with a blade) and that was welcome. It was off-season, weeknight so the snack bar/restaurant was not open for breakfast when I wanted it, but I understand that situation; not enough hotel guests to justify opening early. I just went elsewhere for breakfast and not really a problem.

For the price you literally can’t beat it. We had a solid stay and everything was fantastic. We did get a NON-smoking room that smelt a bit like smoke, but after some cocktails at the casino we didn’t notice it. Clean and friendly and we had a rad view of some cool houses on the hill during a thunder and lightning storm!

The only thing I could complain about is no 24 hour food options. Which is me just being annoying and wanting chicken tendies at 3am haha. Also their tv doesn’t have a guide. So you just gotta scroll thru Channels to find something. (Which is just me being spoiled with instant gratification everywhere else in life) EVERYTHING WAS RADICAL

We have stayed here before many times. When it went to a $150 room deposit we stopped. People on vacation can't have large sums of money tied up for days on deposits? I talked to them and they refunded the deposit the next day. Thank you. Beautiful Hotel great place to stay! Beautiful town Central City. Have traveled the country and if you like a place where you can park on the street in front of the casino and feel like you have turned back time when people were friendly, you have found it! $150 room deposit

I liked the price, the room was clean, and I loved the casino. The staff at the cashier desk and Hotel desk were very friendly. All my questions were answered. We were able to sign up for a casino membership card to enjoy those perks.

I didn't like that the lady I spoke to on the phone didn't advise the Hotel desk would be closed when I arrived and I would have to go to the Casino ashier desk. That caused me to go up and down the different floors after a very long drive. Also, the ice machine was broken. Lastly, the cafe and soda machine was closed down early so I did not get to enjoy it while at the casino during the night time

Reasonable Price for the area and Clean. The staff was friendly. We ate at the grill and food was good and more reasonable than the competition in the area. I like that the free coffee is brewed instead of machine and that the free coffee and drink bar is well maintained. We would stay again. It was very quiet. I like the low key vibe. Glad the carpet was clean than most hotels in that price range.

The bathroom we had was very small yet clean. The tears in furniture throughout was off putting but realize the traffic they get.

Love that there is still normal craps, not crap-less craps which I will never play.

Vaping of cannabis should absolutely be allowed, it doesn't smell for more than 15 seconds then it's gone. Why allow alcohol but not vaped weed? If you try to make it Disneyland for families it will suck like the strip (downtown Vegas is cool)..I locked my phone in my room after checkout and housekeeping wouldn't let me in. Annoying.

The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly. The food at the snack bar was good for breakfast.

We gambled until 2 am. The casino area is a little dark and dingy, but we had a good time and the dealers were nice and made it fun. We had requested early check-in, but the hotel did not let us know that they could accommodate our request.
