The staff were incredibly warm, friendly and inviting. From check-in to check-out and everything in between, they treated us like friends rather than guests. The casino was nice and didn't reek of cigarette smoke like some do - and the free coffee on the casino floor was a nice touch too. The room was very spacious with a nice view.

A complimentary breakfast would had added more value to the overall cost-benefit balance. I would add some variety to the casino, particularly on the slot machine side (there were seemingly hundreds of video machines, all with extremely similar-looking slot machine games, whereas I looked for video roulette and blackjack but didn't find it), but otherwise I have no real complaints.

My room was in a quiet location away from casino noise. Colorful and pretty lobby. Security on casino floor were extremely helpful and nice. Day restaurant manager wad also wonderful.

Front desk personnel are ok but not nearly as welcoming or friendly as the casino security! They were professional but as far as hospitality mentality, lacking. This affected how I felt about my experience. Food in the restaurant is so-so (ribs were good though). Need more awareness and options for food allergies.

Clean & spacious

The wooden bed frame/base stuck out much farther than the mattress & looked dangerous from the minute we walked into the room! My husband remarked- “that’s an accident waiting to happen!” And sure enough, a little later in the evening I accidentally ran into the wooden base of the bed & cut my shin badly! I could have even used a couple stitches on it but I taped it up. It is just a VERY BAD design! And - we were there on a Wed night & very excited to play table games in the casino but much to our dismay the table games were not open on Tues or Wednesday nights! That was VERY maddening! Guests should be informed of that ahead of time for sure!

the casino was very clean and people very friendly. we were on the first floor with the maids, laundry, etc. Every morning we would talk to them and each one of them was very nice and a pleasure to talk to.

Was not very happy with the only restaurant in the casino/hotel. The first night there was a 30-45 min wait as there was not enough wait staff we were told. The breakfast the next morning was slow, we were there over an hour. Was told there was an issue in the kitchen. The food was, at best, mediocre. Ended up going back into town for the remainder of our meals.

The staff was surprisingly unfriendly. Walked through the casino early my first morning no one smiled no one said good morning I’m sure I looked lost trying to find the restaurant and know one ask to help. Have stayed at Ute mount in th past because I. Worked in the area for many years. I was excited to share that experience with my family l was left a little embarrassed by the coldness of th staff in every dept I’m sure I won’t be back.

The entire staff from the front desk to the restaurant, to housekeeping, to the casino staff were incredibly nice and treated us like family. My wife did lose $120.00 in the casino and I lost $105.00, but we played for several hours and had a lot of fun. The hotel room was amazing! The restaurant had a traditional Ute buffet and the lamb, lamb ribs, roasted corn, and traditional native American treats were some of the best I ever tasted. If we are ever within 100 miles of the hotel again we will surely stay again.

I liked the pool, hot tub and sauna. It was like a hot and the pool was big. I liked the room with many space and the extra bed they gave us was pretty comfy for my kids due to only having one bed. And the shower was pretty inviting.

We booked our room for two beds online.when we arrived to check in, they told me there was only one room available with one bed. We had a nonrefundable booking so we had to decide to lose our money or stay. So we stayed, but I would appreciate it to give us a heads up. Also, the lady up front was taking calls from customers and offering them the two beds I wanted. I find that unfair that I booked and had to change rooms before they called and offered what they had.

The hotel is very beautiful, in native American style. The room is very nice and modern, much better from what is offered in the area around Mesa Verde for similar or even higher price. The bathroom is renovated, looks beautiful, works well. The balcony is cosy and we had our dinner there.

The walls are quite thin and you can hear people coughing nextdoor. The AC sounded like a truck engine working in the room - extremely noisy. The pillows are not comfortable, to my taste - flat and hard.

Room was really nice, loved the bathroom. Bed was comfortable, nice pillows. Good amenities in the gym and pool with jacuzzi.

The person working at the front desk seemed to be having a bad day, and was very brisk and sharp. Super noisy in the morning, don't know if it was other guests or staff outside our room on the first floor at 7am.

Front desk clerk was excellent. Hotel was clean and felt safe. Bed was comfortable. Artwork (gemstones) was very nice.

Booking.com failed to get my reservation to the hotel. They didn't receive it and it resulted in an hr of phone time and wait at the front desk. Booking.com said I'd still likely be charged even though they couldn't provide the service I paid for: a booked hotel room. In the end I had to book directly with the hotel and pay a 2nd time. The booking.com service desk was terrible. I won't ever recommend the service. EDIT: It's been more than 2 months and a dozen calls and I'm still waiting on my refund!
