Excellent Location

Bathroom could use some work. Weird / old smell when you first walk in room.

I do not have any bad things to say about my stay at Tranquilo. I am born and raised in Fort Lauderdale and I can’t believe I’m just now discovering this little gem. Perfect for a family staycation. The rooms were extremely clean, a ton of space, and a 3 minute walk to the beach. Plus, the staff were so so nice!! I’m already booking my next time trip back for December.

Nothing that bad— only thing is, the booking said we were going to get two queen beds in our room. Upon checking in, our room had one full size bed and one king size bed.

The pool was amazing, and the room was very clean upon arrival. The AC was always blasting and there was a full kitchen which was amazing as we were trying to save money from going out! We forgot our key card one night and a night staff member was with us within 2 minutes. Very nice staff and great experience.

The water was a little hot but other than that we have zero complaints.

It is a simple accommodation with nothing fancy. This is what made it so relaxing. The property next to the Bonnet House makes it tranquil which is exactly what I needed. And. At the same time I could walk to the beach two blocks away. Best deal in town! I love Tranquilo.

We loved the location near restaurants and the beach! It couldn't have been better! The pool/ courtyards are are real beach bungalow throwback which feel really nice!

We were a bit overwhelmed by the heavy air freshening fragrance used in the room. We had to open the door to relieve the intensity as it aired out. The room was very plain (white) and the bathroom was very cramped and really could use a good remodeling as the sink cabinet was really tiny and low with no room to put any bathroom supplies on. The shower, likewise, had no shelves to put out soaps and shampoos, etc. They had to be put on the floor in the shower to be used. Also, at 1:30 am the smoke alarm started chirping ...AARGH! The maintenance staff got there quickly and were really great guys ... although, it would have been better if they would have brought a pizza for the disturbance!

Everything. The bed was clean and comfortable. The little kitchen was perfect. We could take home restaurant leftovers and store and cook them later. The bathroom was clean.

The stone floor was cold and it got sand on it easily. I could have used and in room mop to handle that, but there was none. This was the only ding I can think of and it really was minor.

As others have noted, slightly older property (part of a larger set of properties), but very nicely maintained. No issues checking in at around 8:00pm, front desk staff were exceptional. Several restaurants within walking distance, and overall - a great stopover if you are cruising out of Fort Everglades.

We wish there were more convenience stores or grocery stores within walking distance. This is not a knock against the hotel itself.

Room was clean, spacious, easy check in and parking. Great customer service skills. Quick reply on text.

The third pool on the vacinity farthest away from the main office definitely needs to TLC. Not very welcoming or inviting when your room is on the section.

Danny the manager was wonderful. Danny is by far the best manager I have ever encountered in the hospitality industry. I have worked on yachts for 20 years.He is the blueprint...an absolute GEM! This little hotel is a hidden treasure...Danny runs a beautiful, well appointed " ship" lol..yacht humor...THANK YOU DANNY YOU ARE A STAR!!

clean with really good conditions

there was a door between my room and the room next door, in the middle of out second night our neighbors decided to watch a action movie… we listened to it like it was in our tv. please consider removing those doors or proper insulation.
