This hotel is an absolute hidden gem! Such affordable prices near the Disney parks and the rooms look beautiful! Plenty of space, beautiful furniture, clean and was just what my family needed! Disney is already so expensive, we didn't want to spend a ridiculous amount on a hotel either. This was perfect! Great location too. We would definitely stay here again! The staff was very kind and went out of their way to provide us with so much understanding and assistance when our daughter got sick and we had to leave earlier than expected. Keep up the great work Destiny Palms! I would recommend this place to all my friends and family!

LOCATION, VALUE AND COMFORT! The hotel is conveniently located near Disney World and a good value! The bed was very comfortable! The staff were totally amazing! They were friendly & kind and made our stay comfortable & absolutely WONDERFUL! They catered to our every request!

OUTDATED! The property including the parking lot and hotel furnishings need updating. The exterior of the hotel needs additional lighting, parking lot needs resurfacing and trash needs to be pickup in the parking lot … especially the area facing McDonalds.

The absolute dedication of the staff and owner to pleasing their guests. The friendliness of all involved with the operation of the hotel.

We love this hotel so much and will return whenever we visit Disney World and other Orlando parks! This was our second stay...our first stay was a week before and we had to leave early since our daughter got sick at Disney World. We drove back a week later to continue our Disney vacation and were so warmly welcomed by the staff! The staff is so fun and kind and friendly. Especially Gloria at the reception was so wonderful and kind to us and helped us so much in our situation with our daughter getting sick! and the hotel manager is the friendliest kid-friendliest outgoing wonderful manager we have ever met! He went out of his way to make our daughter smile! Gave her stickers and a pin and celebrated that she had a great time at Disney! Amazing people at this hotel. The room was so nice too! Comfortable beds, beautiful wood furniture, clean bathrooms, clean beds, clean everything. A perfect fridge to keep all our stuff cold. We felt right at home. We loved how even the reception had some fun Disney character decorations. It was a quick drive to Disney...quick drive up the road to any restaurants and stores needed...Walmart, Target, you name it. Thank you for the wonderful stay! We found our favorite Orlando hotel and will always return! The cost of this hotel is a lot lower than other hotels in the area, but the quality is just as high!!! It exceeded our expectations! It had everything we needed! Thank you Destiny Palms for the fantastic experience!!!

The hotel was a relatively close drive to Disney World property. I was running the RunDisney races so needed to be on property around 3am so having an easy drive each day was a must!

The traffic! Leaving the hotel at 2am traffic was great! Even coming back to the hotel after the race at 10am traffic was great. But if I had been out and about and heading back to the hotel around 6/7pm traffic was absolutely insane!! And by the fact I have to be up so early the next day it was super important for me to be getting into bed early. Other than the traffic this hotel really was grand and I loved it and if I was going to Disney for a non race trip where I could get back to the hotel later and avoid that traffic I would definitely stay there again, just not for race weekends

LOOK NO FURTHER! Destiny Palms Hotel Maingate West is a great hotel. I strongly recommend this hotel. I stayed at Destiny Hotel Maingate for 2 weeks and will be going back there in 3 weeks. The general manager is professional and very accommodating. He also makes himself available for any question I may have. The entire front desk staff did an excellent job and answered any question to my satisfaction. The room cleaning service staff goes above and beyond what I anticipated. There are many restaurants, shopping and parks a short distance from this hotel. Doug Reiff

Great value and location if on a budget Disney trip. Especially since you won’t be spending much time in the room when visiting the parks. No frills, just the basic essentials. There is no breakfast served, however, there is a microwave and fridge in the rooms. Beds and pillows are adequately comfy. Hot water and coffee is available in dining area.

Room was a tight fit, not much space for baggage. I think if they took the tiny table out, we could have a little room for luggage storage.

The check in process and cleanliness of the facility. It looks like they are trying to update the building as some areas were more up-to-date than others. Check in was very smooth and my pre-pay of the reservation was process correctly. McDonald's is a short walk away.

We had a two queen room and the bed towards the outside wall didn't have a lot of space around it. Not sure how this could be adjusted since the rooms are budget hotel-sized. That being said, I'd rather have queen beds that double beds any day of the week. Part of the driveway seemed to be under construction so parking was limited in one section of the lot.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was very affordable in comparison to other places we'd seen. There is a bus stop outside - this bus stop is on a grassy verge but the buses were very regular and reliable. The location is also very close to Disney which is where we went after staying here.

There is not that much to do within walking distance in the surrounding area however uber/lyft are cheap and there is a bus stop outside.

For the price, this is a great stay. Check-in process was seamless. Room was clean and quiet. The staff worked dilligently during the rain to keep the entrance and lobby as dry as possible for safety. Everyone was so polite! The gentleman keeping the lobby area dry pressed the elevator button and held it for me while i was wrangling a stroller, which was a big help! Water is nice and hot, and the water pressure in the shower was great. The area has dining options a short ẅalk away. They kept coffee at all hours ready to go in the dining area. The air unit worked very well, and is quiet. The mattress was a little worn, but I've had worse at 3x the price. The lighting was sufficient and bright enough to see well, without being harsh. There were no strange odors or lingering smoke smells in the room. We only caught a whiff one time in the hallway, like a smoker had just stepped into their room.

A small table or shelf would be nice on the opposite side of the bed.
