The property was neat and clean, the pool was very nice and well kept. The staff were all very good. The restaurant food was delicious. We also liked all of the racing memorabilia since the race track is only a few miles away.

This is very minor, but the sheets on the bed were loose and would not stay tight so they kind of bunched up while you were sleeping but aside from that everything was great. Bathroom was updated and nice and clean. The only drawback to the stay was the traffic in front of the hotel. That is no fault of the hotel but the traffic in front was like a racetrack. We stayed in room 105.

We honestly loved EVERYTHING about this hotel stay! Wish we could have stayed longer. We will be back! Everything was clean. Loved the remodel of the bathroom. Super hot water throughout all showers, never ran out! Loved the pillows, even asked if they were for sale, they were so comfortable. We checked in late in the evening and Sergio was AMAZING - super friendly, knowledgeable and efficient! Got us checked in right away! Will definitely be back!

Having the breakfast served in a room would be nicer. However, we were happy to take it out and eat overlooking the lake or by the pool. It just gives your guests an option.

It would be great to sit by a lit fireplace with a drink, while waiting for our dinner table to be called. Regardless, we were happy and enjoyed looking at the birds, pretty flowers and relaxing by the lake. This is not a complaint. It is a suggestion that your guests would like.

The property is absolutely beautiful from all the large flower pots, balcony hanging baskets, and other landscaping around the property. The views of the Lakes in front and back makes such an ideal location. Inside you have awesome furniture and decor with a fantastic restaurant. You even have super breakfast brought to your room. The staff is So friendly and helpful.

Just need to add a few more hooks in bathroom to hang hand and bath towels.

It's a quaint place, well landscaped and all those little details that are so often lost on the "modern" chain hotels. Clean - from the parking lot to the bathroom, it seems like a place that has been well managed and cared for by thoughtful owners.

Nothing - check-in was a bit slow, but that's fine since several showed up simulataneously, and what can you really do? Sergio was cool about it all!

I like the lake view, the front desk welcome by Sergio. Amazing. The restaurant even though it was all booked. The renovated bathroom, almost new.

The vintage style is nice but some room furniture as the table could be renovated. We didn't like the restaurant manager's attitude, not friendly. I think he doesn't like his job. It was a contrast between him and the rest of the hotel staff. We didn't like much the breakfast sandwich which is delivered to your room, no choice to have it elsewhere.

Employees were super nice and helpful.

The computer system needs to be replace. My husband gave them information how to fix the problem. The "free" breakfast was surprising not the best. We remember when we would go into the restaurant for the "free" breakfast and enjoy looking at the beautiful grounds. Now it's brought to the room in a paper bag and the room had no chairs to fit around the small table. It was a muffin with yogurt and tea which there were only 2 choices. Nothing pleasing.

This is an extraordinarily well run property. Exceeds anything you will find in a name brand property. Attention to detail, cleanliness, service and training of the staff were all exceptional. During the past 20 years I’ve spent over 3,000 nights in US hotels and this is the only one that made me smile.

When I had the complimentary breakfast, they asked how many people I told him with myself and my two kids and when I received the breakfast they did not have my kids food when I called immediately to the front desk and told them they told me it would be right up and 45 minutes later, I did not receive anything but the guy assured me that the next days breakfast would be right and they apologize for the misunderstanding. And the next day’s breakfast was correct. They did make sure that my kids had their breakfast.

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was nice and clean. The furniture was in great condition. The beds were comfortable and had plenty of pillows. The bathroom was updated and clean. The hotel has a fantastic restaurant, and they bring you complimentary breakfast to your room in the morning.

I wish our room had a balcony. We did have a window that overlooked the lake.
