Love the view from the balcony, Room was great, Bed was comfortable, Shower was great, Parking was next to my room, Everything I ordered was in the room, it was very quiet, It was three miles from Helen GA, The trees and colors were awesome. The spa was awesome, and I highly recommend it. Men it was my first time if you have never tried a couple's massage and steam room and rain forest you really don't know what you are missing it was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It would have been nice to have a shower and tube. The carpet needs to be re-stretched, I am older, and it was hard for me to walk on without tripping. There was not an ice bucket nor was there any ice. I did not ask for one had I asked I'm sure they would have made arraignments.

The property is beautiful although sadly we didn’t spend much time there at all as we came one night to attend Oktoberfest so it was literally a place to sleep. However, the service was impeccable and all the staff were amazing - very friendly and helpful. We each got a mimosa at check in - nice touch. This is the kind of place where you can come to be pampered and spoiled. It is about a mile from downtown and not really walkable (unless you’re up for a hike). There is only valet for parking, so we opted to drive to town vs waiting on an Uber (which were scarce - there is a local driver available as well), and just parked downtown for $10, but if you’re planning on tearing up the town, prob best to valet and Uber. Overall, great hotel, facilities are beautiful but not the type of place you’d want to drop almost $500/night on if you’re just going to be downtown. :)

A bit far from downtown and availability of Ubers not very quick. Valet parking is a bit of a pain if you’re going to be in and out.

The staff were attentive, courteous and paid special attention to customer service. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the food and drinks at the restaurants were delicious!

The fireplace in our first room was not working and we were moved next door which was fine. The housekeeping staff did not pick up our champagne glasses when the tidied our room, nor provide clean wine glasses and did not refill the body wash dispenser. They don't offer streaming service to connect to movies or better programming.

Absolutely clean, and “new/modern” feeling. The staff even pulled off rose petals on the bed for the wife’s birthday trip, before we arrived as a request! The chef came to personally check on his dishes…if you stay at or near Helen GA, you’d be silly to choose anywhere else (assuming you have standards lol). PERFECT!

Sometihing small we laughed about more than anything…..is the staff (including Mike the Manager) would enter the elevators before letting us out first. Perhaps it’s a mountain etiquette thing lol. Don’t let this sway your decision in any way in staying here….just something we laughed so hard at, after Manager even did it to us. :)

Location was amazing with great views and beautiful sunrises. Staff was very friendly and helpful daily. My family stayed in a private bungalow, and it was Amazing and quite relaxing. Perfect amount of space, room service was phenomenal and again, the staff was awesome!! And the Spa services were exceptional. Highly recommend the hot stone massage!!!

Only thing I did not like was the age limit for the hotel access/ hotel amenities (no one under 14 yrs old). But I was thankful to have the bungalow option, so at the end of the day we were still pleased with our stay!!

This is an awesome resort and with well charm. The magnitude of amenities is what we were looking for in our stay. Peace and quit was our #1 choice after seeing that the rooms are soundproof in the Booking description of the room. We also celebrate our 3rd wedding anniversary on our trip. I would definitely recommend this resort to others, which I've already have. What I like is that the Valhalla staff is fantastic from Vallet Mr. Rush, Mr. Steven, Lady at check-in , helps us find horse riding (awesome) to housekeeping. Can't remember everyone's names, so KUDOS TO ALL STAFF FOR MAKING OUR STAY ROYAL.

The room above us had a person stumping back and forth for hours late in the night for two days. I mentioned to the front desk, and it quieted down. Next time, we will try the bungalows that are offered. Even tho they offered to move us to the 4th floor, it was nice. We declined after a day full of fun and were just tired and had settled in. The day we were getting ready to leave, we received a knock on the door from the guy above us asking if he could check our balcony for his pipe he dropped. Yes, next time we will definitely do the bungalow.

ALL MEALS were beyond expectation and the service was exceptional. We REALLY ENJOYED Saturday night at the pool. A special evening for us as we enjoyed the food and drinks. Michael did a great job entertaining us and the FIREWORKS were a surprise ending to a wonderful evening. WE WILL BE BACK!!!

TV was very hard to work. I had 2 remotes and i could never figure out which one did what. I called for help and the first guy could not do it and he called a second man and we finally got it going.

The breakfast was great. I loved this area and the food. The chef came out and introduced himself and the food was terrific. I have never been treated so well. I have got to go back to this resort. It is a place everyone needs to experience at least once.

Nothing, everything was beautiful. The staff was spectacular, I have never been to such an inviting place. The owner was so friendly, and we enjoyed speaking with him. This is the first place I have stayed where the owner is visual and communicates with the visitors. Outstanding experience.

The staff was so amazing! Steve was so great to me and had good energy. He truly goes above and beyond it is nice to come across that kind of service because it is rare these days.The staff overall really wants you to a great stay. I love the complimentary valet and how clean my room was. I'm a clean/neat freak, and I want to shout out their housekeepers because they did a good job!!

Maybe it was just me but I would get confused on how to access the hotel. That was the only thing that was a bummer for me.

This is an exceptional hotel in a small tourist town in Helen, GA. There are your general, run of the mill, chain hotels in town. This hotel is, as it says, a resort hotel! We were a little early in the season for the pool which did, however, look inviting. There were also tennis courts, pickle ball courts, bocci ball courts and corn hole. We opted for the mountain golf course, Innsbruck, which was a short walk down the hill from the resort. It was a challenging up and down hill course, that brought us back for a second try. Had we not already booked a massage in our hometown the day after our trip, we would have loved exploring some of the many offerings at the onsite spa. We had a lovely king suite with a balcony overlooking the mountains. The staff was wonderful and bent over backwards to make sure that we had what we asked for and then some! The attention to detail was a pleasure. My husband has a sweet tooth, so the cookies on the bed were quickly consumed. I especially enjoyed the champagne, that we were greeted with after our 5 hour car ride. After staying in what we consider nice hotels in the past, the little things like ceramic coffee mugs and glass cups in the bathroom were a nice surprise! So much of today's hotels do nothing but provide paper or plastic cups. It is a small thing, but something that we enjoy. To the point that we now travel with our own glassware on trips. We did not eat dinner in the hotel, but, if the desserts and breakfast that we had were any indication of the rest of the food, we highly recommend it. It may seem like a small thing, but something that made us feel good were all the windows in the hallways and the lovely art work on the walls. Most hotels give you that closed in feeling, but, the way this hotel was built, it allowed for windows in the halls.

I have been trying to think of something to recommend, but could only find a tear in the screen on the balcony, which was an easy fix. We liked everything else about our stay.
