The staff was great, the room was clean, and the bed was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. The parking lot was clean and had plenty of space. There were TONS of restaurants near by.

Small things: No soap in our bathroom, and the little body wash bottle was nearly empty. The "hot" water dispenser, for making tea at breakfast, was cold both mornings. Also, the first morning, they had taped signs on the outside of the lid to show what was in the warming dish, and on the second day, the tape was still dangling with no sign. 🤷‍♀️ It made me wonder if they had even washed the warming dish that the eggs were in. Maybe they washed it and just didn't pull the dangling tape off. Otherwise, it was a really nice place!

All in all it was a very nice place, better than any other that we stayed at in the vicinity before, it being modern, sizeable and clean with friendly staff, who, with the front desk clerk, answered all our questions and helped us out with a good choice on where to dine. (Next door, at Sam Sneed's!) The views were stupendous, and the beds, all you could hope for.

Canadian bacon was identified as the meat offered for breakfast that was actually ham, which I found good but, bacon would have been better and would have been what was itemized, which isn't much of a complaint, really.

Staff is exceptional: friendly, helpful, professional. Room and facility are fine, spacious and clean. Breakfast just so-so but adequate.

the sole reason for any rating under ‘10’ or not the happiest face emoji is this: the walls were too thin. We could hear arguments, conversations and, uh, other activities that we would rather not hear. Also, there was one travel trailer and truck taking up 8 parking spaces and another vehicle taking up 6. We were forced on Saturday night, to park in a dark space far from an entrance.

I loved the location of the hotel as it was close to the Tanger Outlet Stores. The room was very nice and overlooked the pool and lake. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was stocked with "Dove" products. I loved the variety of choices for breakfast.

I didn't like getting charge before my actual arrival and check-in time. The pillows were somewhat hard which made it difficulty to get comfortable for a restful night of sleep. Despite being convenient to different things, I didn't like that it was located behind a restaurant in a somewhat secluded area.

Comfort of the hotel room. Breakfast is always great. MISS NITA really provides restaurant experience. She is a friendly host who makes u feel at home and she cooks good.

I couldn't swim because it rained the whole Time. Not any fault of the property. Wish for a covered sit down area for when u want to leisure outside. Doors don't lock at night. I think this is a security issue that I really wish they would Fix. Spray hallways with good smell. Carpets stink. I did request a certain room twice that I never get.

The property is close to the outlets/restaurants and a short drive to downtown Savannah. The breakfast was very good with a lot to choose from.

Even though the property was very clean. The bathroom(toilet seat/sink fixture) could use a little upgrade. Also we witnessed an altercation between two staff members during breakfast that was very unpleasant and unprofessional.

Needed a place right near the airport, and this fit the bill. Large room. As a bonus, many birds, including White ibis, roost in the trees near the hotel. Typical buffet breakfast included. The just around the corner Sam Snead's restaurant had excellent fish sandwiches.

Room was freezing when we arrived - the thermostat had been set to 60F. It was so cold we had to turn the heat on, which felt wrong for so many reasons. Murky outdoor pool did not look inviting,

We were a bit nervous after reading some of the reviews, but this place was just great overall. Clean and comfortable. The front desk, breakfast, and housekeeping staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was quiet and clean and we had no problem at all with noise. We didn't even really hear a lot of airport noise. The blackout curtains were great. The breakfast was really good, too -- eggs, sausage, grits, cereals, waffle machines, breads, drink options, and super friendly staff. The property is on a little peninsula that juts out into a lake and there's a golf course across the lake. There was plenty of parking. I bet there were alligators in the lake, but hard as we tried, we could not spot any. We didn't use the pool, but we noticed it being cleaned in the morning, so it was nice to see it was being maintained. There's a fitness room, too. It's an easy drive downtown. Quality soap and shampoo (little mini Dove bars), soft towels. We'd definitely stay here again -- what a great value!

It does probably need a bit of refreshing, but it's honestly not at all as bad as some of the reviews led us to believe -- they were all pretty minor things. I don't believe the internet was working while we were there -- at least not when we tried to connect. (I wondered if it was because we were at the end of the hall.)

Room was fine. Staff was outstanding, especially Stephanie, who was extremely courteous and helped us on several occasions. She gets top marks (A++).

We were really disappointed with the breakfast. My wife always prefers to book at hotels that offer free breakfast -- specifically, free hot breakfast, not a free "continental" breakfast. Wingate advertizes free breakfast. On arrival, we were told they had a "robust" breakfast with "bacon and eggs." Neither was available on either of the two mornings we were there. The only hot (warm) items were chicken or sausage muffins or croissants. Hampton Inn and others like it offer a much better breakfast, which for us is kind of a deal breaker.

The rooms were clean and updated. Breakfast was excellent with a large seating area.

Nothing but a couple suggestions… nightlight in the bathroom would be helpful for those that need to use in the middle of the night and the beds are very high. My elderly mom used the chair ottoman to assist her to get into the bed. Also a handrail outside the tub to assist with getting out. There was one on the inside wall to assist with getting in.
