Mara restaurant is amazingly delicious, great Mediterranean inspired food, overall great rooms, smart elevators and great amenities, really good gym and nice pool and spa area.

Parking $55 a day after already paid room was just a rip off, we parked off site because of that, and a bit of a slower check in. What I greatly appreciated was that, even though the room was not ready when we arrived, they immediately apologised with a little free credit and cleaned our room.

Brand new hotel with spacious rooms, modern furnishings, and extremely comfortable beds. Some rooms offer breathtaking, uninterrupted ocean views. The hotel is just minutes away from a stunning beach and directly across from the island's largest shopping mall. Additionally, the hotel personnel are very attentive and provide excellent service. While the streets nearby can be noisy during the day, the traffic quietens by evening, which is generally not an issue as you'll likely spend most of the day exploring. Book this hotel!

Room was excellent, bed was super comfortable. Jacuzzis at the pool area were amazing. Water refills are available at multiple floors. The complimentary shuttle service was useful. Ala Moana is a nice area to visit when you feel too much about Waikiki and this hotel is absolutely good to stay at this area.

Excellent new hotel that just has everything you need/want. Free spa area to do hot and cold plunge/sauna and massage for extra charge. It’s just a well thought out design overall. Highly recommend it. And only one weird interaction with staff, but overall staff were 5star.

Extra charges for room service food when we tried to order To go meals on our way up after a long day. One of the bartenders had a pretty crappy attitude for someone literally working in a service industry. Tall blonde guy. Didn’t get his name. He could use some training on ppl skills. I walked up with a smile and an easy attitude after being directed to him to order.

Everyone from the bellboy to the concierge were very attentive, professional and friendly. We were impressed by their level of service that we have not seen in other accommodations across Honolulu and Waikiki. The facilities including the spa, pool, gym, and outdoor entertaining areas are exceptional and give you a resort style experience. And the location is fantastic. You have everything walking distance away from the main shopping centres, to restaurants, to the beach. We would definitely stay again.

Our trip was a last minute decision and it was for a medical concern for our grandson but we are both so impressed with the hotel location and the staff. We haven't been to the island of Oahu for 10 years but now that we have found the Renaissance, we are seriously thinking of going back again. Mahalo.

I did look for a microwave oven but understand that it is not a priority to have in the room. I can't think of anything else that could be improved.

It was new and modern easy to get around.very secure. The credit to buy food and drinks was awesome, Thankyou. We could walk to shops.Walmart 2 mins away. Coffee in rooms was very nice!

My fist time in Hawai and was looking for that Aloha feeling when booking in :( Billing was confusing The room was different to my booking picture Restuarant was pricy.

instructions how to enter hotel entry when coming from HNL since nearest cross street is Piikoi but unable to make left turn from Kapiolani so special instructions should be given to first time guests... a few homeless people were around and someone had a medical condition requiring paramedical emergency assistance

My experience at Renaissance Spa Honolulu was exceptional. The staff was professional and attentive, ensuring I felt relaxed and well taken care of from start to finish.
