This place is exactly as described. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. If you are looking for tons of amenities on site(pool, weight room, breakfast etc...)you will need to go elsewhere and pay A LOT more money. There was parking just down the street for $25 for 24 hours. They do not have a fitness center, but there was free access to one right by the parking garage. We were able to walk to Wrigley Field from here and overall we loved the location.

I can't say I didn't like anything about the property. I think the bathrooms could be updated, but they were clean.

Location, my room was beautiful - big and spacious. Very clean. Staff were lovely. Loved the cookies in the lobby, was super quiet for first 2 nights, thought I was only 1 staying in hotel. Will definitely be back

On last night the people in room next to me were super loud, went on until 3am. No kettle in room, was ok for me this time as my room was right next to lift so took me secs to get downstairs for drink but if I was all way at back of hotel I wouldn't have been happy.

Amazing location, rooms were just as advertised, comfortable mattress and pillows, air-con, easy access to water and coffee in the lobby, the decoration of the lobby was so fun and whimsy!

The humidity made the carpet have a certain… Smell. It quickly dissipated after turning on the air conditioner, so not a big issue, but I think that maybe it’s time to either reconsider the carpets or give them some extra TLC.

We only stayed for two nights, but we would have loved to stay longer. The hotel has a charming retro flair that captivated us right from the beautifully designed hotel lobby. The entire hotel staff is extremely friendly and helpful. A 24/7 coffee and tea bar rounded off the relaxed and cozy hotel experience. The neighborhood is also very quiet and pleasant.

The only downside was that finding parking around the hotel was a bit challenging. Nevertheless, we highly recommend this hotel!

Location was perfect for the bars on the north side and was near many great food options. Was also surrounded by public transport options that went straight into the centre of downtown. A nice, quieter vibe if you're looking for something low key but also with everything you need around you.

I wish the view wasn't a brick wall and that it was easier to control the temperature in the room as it was either super cold or super hot with no in between. I also wish the fridge had a bit more room for our own purchases as it was so full to the brim with mini bar items it was hard to fit your own in.

The Front Desk is staffed by manly GENTLEMEN -- can't remember the last time I've encountered that! -- who were exceptionally attentive, courteous, presentable & professional; and knowledgeable about the local goings-on. My room had a bathtub! (And also a fully stocked mini bar, including corkscrew and savory and sweet snacky snacks.) Comfortable mattress and bathrobe. Classical music played in the lovely, cozy lobby. There was a table of free coffee, including decaffeinated, and hot water.

Took a while for the heat to crank up in my room. I love to be toasty, baby.

I love the charming, old-fashioned feel of the hotel, and it’s impressively well-maintained.

I stayed in a room with two beds, and one of the mattresses was very soft, as if it was nearing the end of its lifespan. It would be great if the hotel replaced mattresses more frequently. While the mattress was still usable, it sagged noticeably from wear and could have been more comfortable.

Very safe friendly environment. Close to Wrigley field. 25 minute walk to Wrigley (1.2 miles) or 10 minute Uber drive, I was able to check in early and the front desk staff were very friendly and polite and helpful. They also have a menu for room service available til 2am with many options. Close to walk to many shops and restaurants.

The price was the only thing I didn’t like. Very dated and old but I liked it , it gave it the old town Chicago vibe.

The Willows hotel is located in the historical part of Chicago and is close to shops and restaurants. The location is really good and neighbourhood felt safe. The room served our family well as we had two large beds in one room. The hotel is old but it's been kept quite nicely. Staff was absolutely the best and was able to tell about the history of the building and the area itself.

As said, the hotel is old and although it's been kept quite nicely, it's a bit worn out. They do not serve breakfast but there were plenty of options close by.

Fascinating lobby. Quiet and quiet room. Air conditioner worked well and there was also a ceiling fan.

The window shade let in some light from the brightly lit outdoors. Limited room (and no freezer compartment) in the mini fridge because it was jammed with sodas and beers for purchase. The dresser top was also cluttered with snacks and drinks to buy. I would have appreciated more room to spread out.
