Staff really worked to make sure our needs were met when our room wasn’t available. We were very satisfied with the outcome and could tell front desk worked hard and were very dedicated. Herbert made the best espresso martinis as he tended bar and checked customers in! Our room was clean, quiet, spacious and comfortable. We also liked that the location was within walking distance to good restaurants, river walk and bars like the speak easy on main st. We found a live band playing on the street and enjoyed a drink from the local bar that sponsored them. Nice casual yet energized environment within about 1/4 miles the hotel.

The breakfast was just ok. Would enjoy coffee being available longer.

I loved the location. It was very close to where we needed to be for dance competition. The hotel was clean and beds were comfortable.

Breakfast was ok. Nothing too exciting and not a large selection. The walls were also very thin. We could hear children jumping and screaming in their rooms down the hall. I’m glad we were on the top floor, or else I’m sure we would have heard people above us as well. We also had to wait forever, at both check-in and check-out, for somebody to come to the front desk. The bar area was incredibly loud when we arrived, which was a bit off-putting.

I loved the location, especially being in the downtown area where everything looked clean and older buildings were renovated. It was easy to get on the expressway to go to retail and restaurant areas. The entire Hyatt hotel looked new and clean, was well maintained, and smelled fresh. Towels were not old, dingy, or thin. Bed was very comfortable. I loved having a sofa to sit on to watch tv or read a book.

I wasn't able to eat any of the breakfast, except for the oatmeal. I have to eat gluten free foods and can't have the spices that were put in the eggs. It would have been great if the eggs were plain so that travelers could add their own spices if they desired to do so. My husband thought the potatoes tasted bad. He was disappointed that there were few yogurt choices, no pancakes or waffles, and the bacon/sausage was saturated with grease.

The location was great. Close to restaurants, the river walk and historic area. Rooms were very nice. Breakfast was great. Staff was nice

When I tried to check in I couldn’t find any staff at the desk or anywhere. Waited 20 minutes. Turned out the person at the desk also had to work in the kitchen a he was getting meal together for someone. Not enough help! Next morning when I wanted to check again couldn’t find anyone. Staff from kitchen looked and couldn’t find person who was supposed to be working the desk either. He just took my info. Need more staff!

Always like staying since I have a college student nearby and travel for visits. 9 times out of 10 Im able to get the suite rooms in the corners that I prefer with a kitchenette so my daughter and her roommates can stay for dinners and bonding. I also like to have a view of my vehicle which works with those rooms.

There tends to be a mixture of people, local and out of towners, ppl visiting the casino and partying, and businessmen so its a little busier than I prefer.

The Hyatt Place Evansville was impeccable. From the inviting appearance of the hotel to the professionally aligned staff and a very clean room! My experience was top notch and I will be returning in the future.

If I had to think of something that could be different. For me, I would include a microwave in the room. At a $200.00 per night hotel a $30.00 Microwave shouldn't be asking too much.

Free parking, close to the riverfront. I liked walking through the neighborhood surrounding the hotel. Appreciated having breakfast provided in the morning. The beds were very comfortable! We appreciated being on the top floor.

Rooms were not ready at check-in time. The body soap dispenser was empty in the shower. Breakfast ends a little too early. No hot tub in the pool area. The only way to get to the lobby is via the elevator as the stairs all led outside.

I liked the vibe and the location, loved the beds which were really comfy, liked the roominess of the suite and the bathroom, liked that it was quiet, parking was easy and close, and we felt safe.

There were what looked like blood stains on the carpet in our room…didn’t like that. There seemed to be a fan in our bathroom but it didn’t work. The breakfast was just mediocre.

The property was in a great location.

The bathroom, shower in particular, could have been cleaned a lot better. The cleaning staff definitely cuts all corners and you can tell. I was also charged double and I have yet to receive a refund. I have spoke with the hotel twice via phone and attempted to speak with them via booking. These two reason have lowered my rating.

Stayed here for weekend,Nitty Gritty Dirt Band concert event. Wonderful room, very clean and spacious. Font Desk Staff were both wonderful and very professional .Breakfast was upto the high standard of any Hyatt Hotel. Plenty of onsite parking. Hotel facilities were excellent, but we found the swimming pool just a bit cold.
