I was very happy about being able to bring my cat, and the affordability of bring my pet ( has medical problems can't be left home alone). Very clean room. Located near the Hyatt Regency where I attended AnimeIowa. This is my 3rd year staying here. The prices are affordable and you get breakfast. Staff was very nice and helpful. When we needed extra stuff or other help/questions they where on top of it.Loved the Welcome AnimeIowa Sign. I will be staying here again next year.

I had to park in the lower lot and had to walk all the way to the end of the hotel where you first pull in. I didn't like it, but I understand( came back late at night), due to the hotel being full for the AnimeIowa Convention.

Very clean and comfortable rooms. The front desk staff was amazing. They have a very large complimentary breakfast as well. The rooms are large, and rooms and common areas are kept meticulously clean. I forgot my leather jacket and housekeeping had it ready at the front desk when I returned to retrieve it.

There was a male employee sitting in the pool area the entire time we were in the pool. It was just my friend and I in there. We're both female. It appeared as tho he was taking pics on his fon, super creepy. We didn't know he was an employee until our second stay.

Traveled here with the whole family for my student to visit the University of Iowa. Hotel was short drive to campus, rooms were clean and had everything we needed, staff responded fast when we needed a light bulb and a plunger, breakfast was fresh and had what we wanted. We used the pool and the fitness room every day. Close to walking paths by the river. We expect to stay here again when we visit over the next four years, especially considering the price.

Wish there was a hot tub. Husband prefers a firmer bed, but I liked it.

The breakfast was very good and very adequate. My room was clean and comfortable. I didn’t have time to check out the pool and wasn’t aware if there was a hot tub.

My window was bad so I couldn’t see out. Had moisture between the panes. Assume just due to the age of the building. Nort really a big deal.

they were very accommodating and kind. i felt like they went beyond themselves to make sure we were comfortable, like bring bottler water to our room without additional charge. they also seemed very understanding and accommodating when we needed to cancel our reservation the next day due to schedule charges . breakfast was hot and delicious, and room was comfortable and clean .

Staff was friendly, our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great! Biscuits & gravy, waffles, eggs, bacon, fruits and more! The pool was heated, which was nice!

Only complaint I could have is parking, we would get back late (9/10pm) and the parking lot was packed, only a few spots in front of the hotel the rest were in the back by dumpsters

It was so refreshing to walk into a nice, cool room after being out in a hot and humid day. Very clean and comfortable. We had a king room which was very spacious. Lots of plug ins. I like it when the sink is outside of the bathroom. Very convenient. We had stayed there a month or so ago, and we had no hesitation to choose this hotel again.

Very impressive breakfast. Good size room, very comfortable. Pool and exercise facility were 24 hour (not many hotels do that). Set back from the main road, so very quiet.

Minor detail but worth mentioning. Property said it had a heated pool - it wasn't heated. With my wife's fibromyalgia she can't use a pool that isn't warm.

Breakfast was good. Had many selections. Very good. The room was clean. We were asked about floor preference. The staff was so friendly. The lobby was welcoming. It was quiet, no noise in hallway.

Pillows are hard. The bath tub is very slick. The safety bar wouldn’t do any good if a slip happened as it did. No bible, Kleenexes, tiny bit of shampoo, conditioner. Wasn’t a planned stay or would bring my own.

We came into town for a football game, so it was in a good location within walking distance to the stadium (about 30 minute walk). Also nearby eats within walking distance. Rooms were clean and beds and pillows were comfortable. Good value..

Bath towels were pretty thread bare and they didn't give you any extras. (Just 2 bath towels). Breakfast is included but you better get there early because it's slim pickings later in the breakfast time frame, and they don't refill. Gym is very weak. 3 pieces of cardio equipment and a rusty cable piece. It's fine if you are the only one in there, but it gets crowded with even two people.
