Front desk agent was super friendly at checkout. Rooms were very nice, and I liked the welcome greeting on the tv. Plenty of charging capability.

The hand towels had brown specks all through them. I suspect they were bamboo, but, nonetheless they were gross.They weren't as white as the normal towels, either. Looked kind of dingy. The front wall and doors could stand some serious soundproofing. Very loud people were going in and out, talking and laughing very loudly and slamming doors. I don't know what a hotel could do but I wish they could figure it out.

Jasmine took care of us at check in and was very wonderful. She Hurried up our room, gave us directions, recommended a place to eat and was lovely. The woman after her, tiny thing with long hair that worked the night shift was incredible. Her customer service skills were just amazing. Making sure everything was great for us and so full of energy! Excellent hospitality! And last, but not least, the room was spotless - so clean! Just great!

The air conditioner/heater was so extremely nosey, it kept us from sleeping well.

This was a great place to stop on our way to Colorado. The room was clean. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was good (although they had run out of several things by the time we got there). The place was at capacity with tons of people headed to Colorado for spring break. We were lucky to have gotten a room. We will likely stay here again next time we travel to Colorado.

There was a group next to us coming in and out and slamming doors all night and into the early morning (high school group headed to Colorado for spring break). We didn’t get any sleep until they left at 5am…. That was not the fault of the hotel (they were sold out, so couldn’t move us). The guy working evening shift was not accommodating and was pretty unwilling to help me with a billing situation. But, the lady working in the morning and the manager fixed the situation and totally made up for the night guy.

The lady checking us in (I failed to catch her name) was outstanding! She was friendly and helpful! Great experience from the time we walked in. Clean comfortable room, good breakfast. We don't come to Hays very often, but when we do we will stay there again.

Only thing I would have liked is cartons of skim milk for breakfast, but everything else was great.

The staff were friendly & helpful. The accommodations were clean and up to date. Brandon at the front desk was especially helpful when my granddaughter spilled her juice. I asked for a rag to clean it up but Instead of just handing us the rag, he cleaned it up and told her it was ok that things happen sometimes!

There’s nothing I didn’t enjoy about the property.

USUALLY DON'T WORRY ABOUT THE BREAKFAST. IT WAS BUSY WHEN WE LEFT

UNDERSTAFFED...THE PERSON WORKING THE FRONT DESK WAS GETTING CALLS AND TAKING CARE OF CUSTOMER CONCERNS. WHEN DOING SO WOULD HAVE TO LEAVE AND GO TO THE ROOM OR WHERE EVER THE PROBLEM WAS. AT ONE TIME THERE WERE 4 PEOPLE AT FRONT DESK WAITING FOR THEM TO COME BACK. CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS GREAT, JUST NOT ENOUGH STAFF TO HANDLE IT.

Right off I 70 and easy to find. Next door to IHOP. Hallways clean and well lit. Rooms nicely decorated, and our king room also had a chair and ottoman and two smaller stools to sit on plus desk and desk chair, larger fridge with freezer and microwave. Bathrooms are quite large with big walk in shower and long vanity with outlets at both ends. Commode is behind a wall in a corner. Super comfy bed and pillows and quiet air conditioning. Plenty of parking near various doors. Breakfast had many choices and was spread out so you didn't trip over each other. Lots of comfortable tables and chairs in the eating area too.

Really, nothing! Hallways seemed really hot, but not sure if that was a cost saving measure or not. The rooms were very cool and easy to regulate to suit the occupant.

Staff and location

Door to room didn't have security lock, only deadbolt. Door also didn't fit well so hall light was coming through at top and bottom. Bathroom could be cleaner. The bathtub handle was loose making it difficult to find correct water temperature. Mattress needs to be replaced in room 306. We have stayed in other Hampton Inns where quality was better.

They had a nice meal prepared in the lobby upon check-in. My husband loved the crock-pot chicken and pasta dish. This was a great touch, after a long day on the road!

Our room was right next to the elevator, so we were awakened by noise rather early. Otherwise, everything was great!

I liked the room, the staff and the location

When we arrived for breakfast at 8:20 am (breakfast hours 6:00 to 10:00 am) There was no hot food, no yogurt, no forks. The desk person had to go back and see what was going on. The breakfast employee finally brought out food, after about 10 minutes.
