The location is excellent - the rooms have a patio that overlooks a beautiful lake. The room was recently renovated and very well done! The TV was huge and had a lot of channels. The kitchenette was supplied with everything you could possibly need and the bathroom was clean and shower was excellent. Beds were very comfortable. The design of the room was great too! The hotel greeter was wonderful and gave me extra coffee with a smile. A wonderful place to stay!

We liked everything!!

The location was great definitely walkable to town and you can't beat being right on the lake. The whole place was very relaxed, there were lots of little hangouts spots all over the property. The owner made canoes and kayaks available for free which we took advantage of every day. They're in the process of remodeling and we stayed in one of the older rooms. There was no AC but it wasn't too bad in the evenings and I'm not complaining because it's the only way we could have afforded this trip. The room did have a mini fridge and a microwave which we greatly appreciated. The other rooms that had already been remodeled looked very nice and had brand new AC units. The owner was so extremely friendly, and so was the rest of the staff we interacted with, and overall I was just such an easy pleasant experience.

Newly renovated rooms are clean and comfortable. Big screen TV and a new heater/ac unit was easy to use. Within walking distance to town. On the lake with dock space available.

The shower door keeps sliding open. Needs adjustment.

It had a nicely supplied kitchenette. We walked to the grocery for breakfast food and cooked breakfast ourselves. We ate it on our porch looking at the lake. We also took out the canoe to explore the lake. It was complimentary to use.

When I booked I noticed that the comments were very good for this hotel. It was even better than expected. The room had an efficiency kitchen and the whole room looked as though it had been remodeled. And the location along the lake was beautiful.

They couldn't have improved a thing.

Loved our room, our view, the fact that it was pet friendly and the short walk to town. Also Dr. Steve was very kind and friendly!! Hope to be back soon!

nothing...everything was great

Room exceeded expectations-recently renovated with bright clean bathroom and new kitchenette facilities. Wide glass doors overlooking the lake. “Camp and Moose” decor fits the locale.

No breakfast/restaurant on site. We had to travel to the nearby bowling alley. (Breakfast options were limited in the area.)

Check in was easy, the person or family lives there on site and was friendly. The motel is undergoing renovations (May 2022). It is located right on the lake, and the back area was soggy, perhaps due to flooding. There is a gas station and convenience store nearby. Nothing great, nothing bad about the place.

No breakfast options nearby, bowling alley was recommended for breakfast but is only open around the weekend. Ended up driving to Lac Megantic for breakfast.

This is the kind of place I always dreamt about as a grown man. The essence of Gods Beauty and peace. The addition that was being constructed was not even a bother. ☺️☺️☺️

It was surprisingly amazing. I am sure that it would be unbelievable in the summer as it is located directly on the lake and we were here in the winter. The scenery was beautiful, covered in white snow. It is a motel but it was super clean and very spacious. Pictures are exactly as the room appears. Nice bathroom. About 15 minute drive to Saddleback Ski Resort. The kitchenette was nicely equipped and the refrigerator was a nice large size. Plenty of storage and super clean! Great places to eat near by. Super cute town. Highly recommend!
