An absolute great find! Room was beautiful. The shared bathroom was perfectly clean. The location is wonderful if you want to catch the ferry. And the town itself is so cute. There’s a great coffee shop and food truck just across the street and the cutest little bar right next door. And very dog friendly! They even left a special treat for him!

Didn’t realize the bathroom had no enclosure from the bedroom - pictures did not reveal this about the room and made for a somewhat awkward feel to the space

Charming hotel, in a great location. The rooms were small, but there was common space we were able to use - deck/porch. We used the gas grill, which worked out great for us. Staff was very pleasant and helpful.

The rooms were tight, but we know this going in.

We had a nice stay at Seaside Inn! It's in an old house, which has been divided up into separate rooms very thoughtfully. The location is great, with nice views of the harbor. I would definitely recommend a stay there!

Our room was one which did not have a private bathroom, which we did not love as we are quite covid cautious.

Seaside Inn (& Ocean House) were the most adorable places we stayed on our Maine Trip. We absolutely hope to come back here on a future Maine vacation. Not only was the town of Port Clyde wonderfully friendly, quite, and scenic, but the buildings and rooms themselves were a treasure to experience. The beds were super comfy, and waking up to the sun peaking through the windows and the sound of the ocean in the distance was absolutely what my partner, friend, and I needed on a long weekend.

Nothing, other than I hope to visit again during non-Covid times.

A map on the website of the full property with both buildings would’ve allowed us to help ourselves without having to call/text for help after hours. But we appreciate the quick response.

Location was perfect. Across from the harbour in a beautiful lobster fishing village. Beside a restaurant, coffee shops and a general store. The inn was renovated so rooms were modern with the charm of quirky angled walls. Keurig coffee and filtered water available 24/7. Views from Adirondack chairs on the lawn and decks were stunning. Staff was helpful and super friendly.

Price for having to share a bath with 4 other rooms was a bit eye watering. (One night there were a couple of women who decided to use it for a spa night. Words fail me) One bathroom had a claw foot tub with hand shower. Should have just been a shower stall. Soap not provided in bathrooms so you had to bring your own coin-sized one provided in your room. Don’t understand why a soap dispenser wasn’t provided for shared bathrooms. Wifi was super patchy, especially when other guests were online. And, no tv in bedrooms.

It was very coastal, loved the barn next door for drinks

It was nice to have coffee in the room but it was not very good.

Steep stairs, but website says there are no elevators to the rooms on the upper floors so beware if you have navigational issues. It is an old building.

It was comfortable. The room downstairs was convenient for making breakfast (we brought our own in order to save a few $$) and coffee. It was in close proximity to everything. The view was gorgeous. The cupola was pretty cool. Communication on how to access room was good. The room was clean, quaint, but small. We just needed a place to sleep, so it was fine. Naomi was friendly and helpful.

The rooms were small. There was a sign that said don't get water on the floor yet the tub had a handheld sprayer and no curtain. The room was fine except the person getting into the full size bed on the wall side had to bend down in order to not hit their head on the ceiling/wall. Despite these negatives, I'd stay here again.
