The location is perfect, bus and subway lines less than a block away and Newbury St at walking distance. This was the best location I could've picked for my stay in Boston. The staff was always super friendly and kind and you get a discount at the cafe as a hotel guest.
The room was small, and that's fine since we spent most of the time out, but the bed felt too small for a full-size, and we weren't too comfortable sleeping. Also, the lights were super dimmed, and we struggled when packing because the lights weren't bright enough. It looks good, but it could be more practical.

All the staff were so helpful regarding how to get to places and they checked routes for me and times of opening of galleries etc . The outside space with tables and umbrellas facing Boston Library was my favourite place as was the complimentary fresh croissants and coffee and the delicious food from the restaurant with lovely servers . It was a great spot for a drink in the evening feeling comfortable as a lone traveller and good to place to watch the world go by.
Room and bathroom was a little small but was comfortable . The mini fridge was on the top of a shelf that I couldn't reach as I am only 5'3 " . I think that soundproofing could be better , I could hear the person in the next room coughing!

Great location, staff was extremely helpful and friendly, café, and restaurant right next-door made it very easy to quickly get food, The room was small but sufficient for two people with a nice size bathroom and all the supplies that were needed.
The guest above us were extremely noisy every night, I don’t know if they were fighting or throwing furniture around or what the situation was but when I called the front desk, they had already had numerous complaints each night so in my opinion, they should’ve been removed from the premises, but Nonetheless it did not keep me up all night, but it was annoying.

The location was excellent - perfect for those using the Logan Express for Back Bay. Copley T station was on the doorstep, giving access to all of Boston. They offer a coffee and pastry for breakfast, which is a nice touch, though the staff seem focused on other things, until you remind them. It is a street away from the fantastic Newbury St, which they don’t make enough of in their material.
The rooms don’t have much sound proofing but to be fair, the other guests had realised this and were quiet when walking past.

Excellent location for visiting art museums, near transportation and restaurants. Complementary morning coffee (delicious coffee!) and croissant was a convenient perk. Hotel staff were helpful and courteous. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. The Boston guide and map in the room were very helpful. Public parking was a short walk away. We benefited from the low-season January discount, so that was another major plus. The 20% discount at the downstairs Landwer café was a very welcome convenience with good food options (especially for vegetable lovers) and delicious tea.
The negatives were only annoyances, nothing significant. Lighting was a little low in the rooms, but once we figured out the dimmer (not obvious) along the switch it was much improved. We couldn't figure out how to operate the TV but that was probably just as well, better to pour over the Boston guide and discover the tons of things to see and do in Boston!

The location in Back Bay was terrific. It was within walking distance to so much--the train station, the Commons, the Boston Fine Arts museum. Room was fine; hotel offered croissants and coffee for free in the morning. Check out is at noon, which is later than a lot of hotels.
There was one night there was a lot of noise overhead -- like heavy footsteps and also the sound of things dropping. It went on for quite awhile. I was on 5th floor so I assumed it was someone on the 6th floor but my friend--who was on 3rd floor--heard it as well and said it went on until 3AM! We did mention something to the receptionist but she wasn't sure what it could have been.

Room is small, tiny, but all of the other is good. Joey and Brittney are great fellas and friendly front desk staffers always ready to help with a smile. Restaurant is great food, but not so sure about how courteous the staff at the restaurant is.
The restaurant and breakfast is very slippery... Sometimes they try to hide the croissants and pastries, when they ran out, to have you pay for them. Parking around the area is almost impossible. You are in to pay for Parking Garage.

Excellent location on Boyleston Street. I took the Logan Express from the airport which left me at the Prudential Center, this is a free service and very convenient. Only stayed one night and took a single room, the bed was tiny but perfect for one person. The room was quiet, bed was comfortable and the staff were lovely. I enjoyed the complimentary coffee and croissant in the morning and had dinner in the restaurant, a middle eastern restaurant and the food was great. I loved the location, there is loads to do and see in the area. I would stay here again

The pastry you get with the breakfast was amazing. It is within a short walking distance of the Convention Center. With Newbury Street behind the hotel, there were amazing restaurants within a short distance. It also near the finish line of the marathon Boston, which was cool to see the line in the street.
If I weren't traveling alone, the rooms would feel tiny. It was just large enough for one to comfortably move around. The room I had, you couldn't open the shower door and have the bathroom door open.

The location could not have been better— steps away from the amazing Boston Public library, the Paramount shopping Plaza, the Copley Square T stop. Our lovely room overlooked the finish line to the Boston Marathon. There was a charming café on the premises. Most of all the staff made us feel like family. I would like to particularly acknowledge Lily and Tori for their attentive and friendly customer service! The rooms were well designed with surround sound for the radio and television, a small couch comfortable pillows and mattress and an excellent bathroom with great water pressure in the shower. While this Boutique hotel is in an old mansion, the rooms are completely modern with all the amenities you might need.
Nothing! We will be back!
