Beautiful hotel and property with a very interesting history! There is plenty to do at the hotel--outdoor yard games, year round out door hot tub, indoor and outdoor pools, spa, bar, restaurant, paranormal tours. I'd love to be able to stay for a week to do everything. The room was also amazing with a jetted tub in the bathroom and a separate living area and bedroom.

We ordered room service for breakfast. It took about 45 minutes to arrive and it was a little cold. It tasted good, but it was not worth $125. I was dreaming of the banana pancakes that I had the last time we stayed but these did not match up, sadly. Also, the grotto was closed in the spa area, which I was very much looking forward to as well.

The spa was amazing. I had a massage and a facial and both were wonderful (although, my massage therapist talked a little more than I prefer). I love the grotto and being able to relax while waiting! The cafe on site is a little pricy and doesn't have standard black/breakfast tea (only Earl Grey) which was disappointing. Our room was nice - a little small, and our view as into what looked like a back alley/parking area, but we spent most of our time out at the pool or exploring the shops, or at the spa, so it wasn't a deal breaker. Love the flavored water in the lobby and the staff was very friendly!

Would love some breakfast tea in the cafe. Our room smelled a little like stale smoke. I'm not sure why since I believe it's a non-smoking hotel. Maybe just beause the building is older?

We had a parlor suite on the 5th floor, and I absolutely loved the room, it was perfect for us since only 1 of us is an early riser. We also love the outdoor hot tub, and the pool area downstairs. The room service breakfast was great!

The elevators were broken for the duration of our visit, and since we were on the 5th floor, it was pretty inconvenient. On the bright side, we did get out steps in while we were there! We really enjoy the outdoor hot tub and the indoor pool and hot tub. The downstairs pool and hot tub area could use a good powerwashing, especially by the steps. We love the facility, it could just use a little attention to detail. One other issue was that the jetted tub in our room needs attention. When we turned on the jets, it sprayed chunks of black mold into the bath, so we had to get out immediately. Since the tub was very slow to drain, we could never really get those chunks out of the tub, even with the shower on. We were in room 524.

The hot tub outside was amazing. Also the holiday decor in the lobby and throughout the hotel was very well done. The staff was also helpful and friendly.

I expected that the room would have a mini fridge, since that is a pretty common amenity at even lower quality hotels. I also didn't care for the bed or the bedding. The mattress was too firm for my preference and the bedding was too crisp and loud anytime you moved.

The Hotel facility is very up to date and classy. The lobby is spacious and inviting. Our evening dinner at the.Three Owls Restaurant was excellent… good food and a lovely atmosphere. The spa facility is outstanding.

The lighting in the room was low, and an additional electrical outlet near the full-length mirror would have allowed more than one person to dry or style hair. I would also have expected some kind of light over the tv/desk area. The bathroom was adequate, but an additional towel bar below the sink vanity top would be helpful.

Everything about this place was amazing. The whole place smells amazing, the pools were clean and they serve complimentary cucumber water in the lobby. I will DEFINITELY make this a weekend getaway destination again.

Absolutely nothing. This place was literally the best place I've stayed in a long time.

The Elms is absolutely gorgeous! Spacious areas that are well maintained and very nicely decorated. Great restaurants, bars, deli, small store, banquet areas, pool, workout equipment, games, and so much more! Rooms are lovely and very comfortable! There is nothing to dislike!

Our suite was spacious. Staff were very friendly. Lobby is charming. Fire pits were nice to sit around at night.

The air conditioning in our suite made the living room freezing, but the bedroom was a little too warm. The door to the fire escape was slamming in the wind, we tried to secure it closed, but couldn’t get it to close.

It was quiet in our room.

you need handrails for the downstairs hot tub I liked it better when children were not allowed. We couldnt use the downstairs pool for swimming or walking as children commandeered the pool. The menu in dining room and bar was very limited. The drinks were great! There was nit enough time.

Unique and beautiful! Loved the spa! We ate breakfast in the dining room and our waiter was exceptional! Really catered to my 1 yr old grand daughter.

Bartender was on her own and waited 30min for a drink. She was very nice just very overwhelmed.
