The room was overall clean and well maintained. Bed was comfortable and linens scent free. Bathroom was modern. The location was perfect for exploring Portsmouth and the valet parking was convenient.

The medicine cabinet in the lobby shop was not as well stocked as some other Hilton's I have stayed in. Would have been nice to have some travel focused medications on hand like dramamine in case you arrive before/after local pharmacies are open. There was some mildew in the shower. For the price, I'd like a few more amenities and spotless bathrooms.

Our room and bathroom were clean and very large. Service provided extra supplies when requested. I used the pool and exercise room, and they were both in good shape. The valet service was responsive, and the front desk service was accommodating. The location was great, and we walked everywhere.

The air conditioner would go on and off during evening and wasn't very quiet.

This is a great place to stay to discover Portsmouth. You’re within walking distance but just far enough away so there’s no noise. Clean & comfortable accommodations. A highlight was Bartender Theresa. She is lovely! Professional, kind, helpful & fun! She makes an impact & a difference. She wholeheartedly represents the hotel’s hospitality. You’re lucky to have her!

Every other day maid service. No complimentary breakfast or end of day mixer. Moldy caulking in the shower. I would monitor the gym usage because both days I used it I found it full of people so perhaps it’s possibly a little too small?

Drain plug for tub was missing, lights next to beds didn’t work, no guide for the TV channels, hot/cold indicators on shower and tub fixtures were reversed, usb charger outlet didn’t work, some inconvenience due to renovation

the only parking available was $40/night valet parking. Thought that was expensive and unnecessarily annoying, especially with a garage right across from the hotel

Location is excellent. Not at all of Hilton quality, a bit shabby and worn and the public areas were not very clean.

The hot tub was out of order & apparently had been for a couple of years. It was 'cordoned off' with street cones & police tape; very messy. Otherwise the pool area was not very clean & there were very few chairs to sit on or to put towels & belongings on. Breakfast was terrible. Best to eat out for breakfast. Some reception staff were very welcoming and helpful, others were dismissive.

Didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Location was perfect. Comfortable and clean.

Thought the bedcover/spread seemed a bit shabby-snagged. Nothing else negative to say. Overall, excellent.

When I called direct to see if they would match rates. The lady I spoke with was very rude and told me the rate I was quoted from booking.com was not real. It was ! I stayed for that rate and was not charged a cent more .

it’s starting to feel dated I didn’t realize I had to ask to have my room cleaned after a 4 day stay I was completely out of towels. wish they would have mentioned that when I checked in
