Was thrilled to be able to swim outdoors! We’ve been vacationing at the Royal Atlantic yearly for nearly 30 years. We love the location! The cleaning staff and maintenance staff are always friendly and helpful. We’re glad for the renovations that have been made such as tile floor. Would be great if further renovations could be made - noisy air conditioning. Cleaning staff did their best but there is a musty smell.

John Papas restaurant needs to have more staff during a busy weekend such as this. They were overwhelmed with frustrated customers who had waited far too long for their breakfasts. The WiFi was terrible. Most often it was not connecting to RA North. Towels are small. It’s time to update key entry. Loud a/c but necessary because of musty smell.

The beachfront room, had fantastic views!! The balcony was enjoyable, and the room was quite pleasant! Everything was clean, and working including the heat, mini refrigerator, microwave, etc! The room was also fully stocked with clean glasses, plates, etc for convenience! The bed linens were clean, & comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and fully stocked! The warm shower was appreciated! Our stay was most enjoyable!

The stairs to the second floor were outdated and a little unnerving! The railings were also not protective enough for young children! The parking pad was gravel, not too good on tires!

The front desk staff upon arriving could have been friendlier and more informative. IE, Telling us how to get to our room The restaurant where breakfast was served was in need of a serious cleaning and updating. The entrances were dirty, and covered with debris (leaves and other garbage) and cobwebs. The windows were filthy. The condition of the front of the restaurant really made you question the cleanliness of the kitchen. The food was sub-par. The staff was just "OK".

Love the location so close to town and super close to the beach. Servers and bartenders were excellent, very friendly. You could choose between lounge chairs on beach close to pool, or bring your own beach chairs to the beach. Our room was a suite which even more space than we needed with a full size fridge and stocked kitchen.

It's very family friendly, which is great but not exactly ideal for a couple. Pool was always swarmed with kids so if you like a quieter relaxing beach vibe you won't find it there.

Location is beautiful, rooms are adequate. The restaurant bathroom was less than satisfactory- it was filthy, stalls and fixtures were broken , no toilet paper or paper towels.

Staff was less than enthusiastic to engage in any customer service at all, which is sort of surprising for an industry that relies on tips. They seemed more interested in socializing with each other, making guests feel secondary.

The location is unbeatable.

The staff hates each other, one guy didn’t acknowledge me or my guest as i walked in and went downstairs to the game room while it was closed. The next day a lady who also works the front desk was arguing, the guy asks “you think im lazy?” She says yeah i do. Then he says we can switch days so we dont have to see each other. I was like wow, great location and a show, this place cant be beat, joking but yeah the staff, actually just that one guy, to answer the question.

The location is beautiful and the room was clean and adequate for our needs. It was obvious that repairs were needed throughout the property.

I love this spot and have been coming here for years. It breaks my heart to see this beautiful property with so much potential, fall into such disrepair and mediocrity. Staff was lukewarm and indifferent to guests needs. When we asked for pool towels we were told by front desk that none are available after labor day and that we should’ve brought our own. There was no food menu available after breakfast even though it was a weekend during the height of busy season and the hotel appeared full with guests. Hoping that the resort is sold or taken over for renovations to make it great again!

The beds are very comfortable and clean room and the view amazing

The cleaning people were rushing me out of my room at 10:20am while I was packing my car I had to tell them not to go in the room few times while I was going back and forth loading my car and the women yelled out… check out is 11am I responded I am fully aware that is why I’m loading my car … very uncomfortable feeling … beside that it was a pleasure the rooms were great

Very clean room. Great pool. Lots of umbrellas and lounge chairs. It was good having a small kitchen. Location is excellent as it was easy to walk to the town. Also great having the restaurant right there so I could get breakfast in the morning. AC worked great and I was able to control the temperature easily. Loved being able to sit on my Terrace.

Lack of channels on the TV. Even though I didn't watch much I missed my regular channels. Bathroom is well stocked but tiny. The inside Doors and Rooms are slightly run down but I think it adds to the charm of the place

location, beach front, friendly responsive staff I dove into the pool with my phone in pocket, took it out to dry and the smiling Jamaican Life Guard, dried it off, took the cover off and dried is some more. just a friendly kind atmosphere Good Job Loved the waiters at breakfast, so attentive and giving it their 100% effort

learning curve, did not realize there were two pools with pool side rooms I thought I was on the ocean side. but still very nice
