When I arrived, the owner was very friendly and accommodating. I requested a delayed check out time and the owner graciously complied! I was extremely grateful for their customer service and well kept room. I was given a room immediately and even though it was a smoking room, the room smelled very fresh and clean. This hotel has free wifi and a lot of available free parking. There was a minifridge, air conditioning and a microwave included in the room. Thank you for a great stay!

There was nothing that I didn't like. This motel is a nice, quiet and affordable place to stay!

Spacious room and large bed. Friendly staff and check in and out was quick and easy process.

The bathroom was a little bit on the smaller side and needed some work, the AC unit was a little banged up but we managed to get it to work.

Breakfast did not exist. I knew this before I made my reservations. Thus, I prepared for this. I brought a bag of bagels and some granola bars. Plus somthing to drink. This suited me fine. The room, while dated, was clean and well kept. The bed was neat and the blankets and sheets were very clean. The staff were very good to talk to and very helpful in answering any question that I had. I'm not very technically inclined and one staff member came to my room to help me on one occasion. I will gladly stay there again. The rural setting of the Sunrise Motel is very nice. It has a very substantial lawn. It is very quiet and not much traffic. The walk I took was along the local road with very little traffic and very enjoyable for a country walk, which I do not often get a chance to take.

To be honest I can not think of any major issues. Oh yes. I thought of one. The door locks have been well used and on the door of this room, were wearing down. For over 25 years I often had to travel for my job. I have stayed at much inferior places. My opinion is that this motel has suffered from the Covid 19 pandemic shut down and will recover. This is a good place to stay. What I did not care for was the comment by a previous guest that the shower was spilling over the side because the curtain did not close properly. This person could easily have moved the nozzle of the shower and pointed it a bit toward the rear of the shower stall. Problem solved. I tried this and it worked. No spilling.

The place has good wi-fi in the room I occupied. It is conveniently located on the western outskirts of Owego.

This is a very modest, older motel, and was quite expensive given what was provided. They get away with this because other motels in the area have higher prices. The sound travels between rooms, and you can hear the person in the next room coughing. I booked this place because it was the cheapest in the area, but you get what you pay for. I have booked other motels nearby in Owego at only slightly higher prices that were much newer and in better shape. I have nothing against this place other than the high price for what you get,. I have stayed there before and my expectations were set accordingly.
