"Location, location, location" right downtown along shop, museum, bar and restaurant laden Fall Street. Easy walking along canal as well if preferred. The Gould Hotel is a definite landmark within an impressive older building offering guests a welcoming and updated for comfort interior. Rooms were very spacious and clean; beds were extremely comfortable. Heating/cooling system easy to operate and worked well. Room darkening blinds for better sleep were most welcomed. General Manager, Anthony, and staff were professional, friendly and accommodating. Enjoyed two dinner specials and seasonal drink offerings in the hotel's dining room: a Bourbon Meatloaf and Shrimp Alfredo offering that were absolutely delicious. Meal came with warm rolls and fresh butter which is a much appreciated added feature in these times. Prices were very fair for the portions and service was timely. TV access at day's end to relax and unwind was an issue, but GM made good on it by at least offering a discounted rate to make up for it. More than fair and understanding on his part for a provider issue out of his control.

Only glitch to our stay was TV access in room at day's end when you just want to unwind and relax in room ahead of bed time. There were issues with provider update (Spectrum) and so no channels, except for one with local regional news headlines could be accessed. This issue was out of hotel's control as provider seems to be the "only show in town".

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at this quaint, updated historic hotel conveniently located in downtown Seneca Falls and a short walking distance to many of the towns attractions and local restaurants. Though the room was a little small it was very clean with a comfortable queen size bed and updated modern decor. Hotel had a complimentary continental breakfast which was okay for a quick bite to start our day but also had a full restaurant and bar open in the evenings with good food, drinks and service and entertainment on the weekends.

We did not have room service for our 2 night stay and the breakfast had limited options.

I loved the staff very friendly and kind helpful as well would stay again the food was good for real would eat there again the wine was fabulous I just loved it the beautiful outside tables were great

the room was nice but the main light stopped working the toilet was broken and the toilet paper despncer was broke room could have been better but it was only one night would stay again but just need a better room would have stayed again but the room was not that great

Very central, located right by the Women’s Heritage Museum and plenty of free parking. Lovely staff. Bed was very comfortable and bathroom was spacious. Breakfast was ok, but nothing special.

Our room faced on a back lot that was a bit noisy at times. Ask for a room facing the street as there is little traffic on that side.

Quite literally, the Gould hotel offers some of the best service. You'll find! The gem of Seneca falls, conveniently located in the finger lake region of the New York, it is literally a perfect place to stay. Anthony and his staff wil literally provide all the local information you need to. Have a wonderful, restful stay. And the restaurant is also superb! The rooms were spacious and clean, and very very comfortable. We can't wait to go back

The staff was the hardest working I have ever seen. We went to the hotel restaurant where the bartender was also the wait staff. This woman was amazing. The restaurant and bar was crowded and she was able to serve everyone without any complaints. I have been too many upscale restaurants that has 10 times the staff and been kept waiting to be served over 20 minutes. My husband thought the old fashioned drink was the best he has ever had and we both liked the food. Everyone at the restaurant could not believe how good she was.

The area it was in was a little tired

Close to the wineries in the Finger Lakes and many eateries. Staff were very helpful and pleasant folks. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. The restaurant had good dinner selections and the accordian music was pefect for listening and dining.

Could use more water pressure in the shower, but it still was nice and warm. Suggest a way to keep freezer packs frozen. Although the rooms were a little small according to some reveiwers, they are still larger than some places you see in Europe.

The Gould is a unique hotel. Nice to have a bar & restaurant on the property. We stayed in a king suite and it was very spacious & comfortable. The hotel is walking distance to restaurants. There is a coffee shop & brewery across the street.

The breakfast, while convenient, needs more options. The bar & restaurant closing times were not consistent. Our first night, stayed open a little longer bc there were customers but the 2nd night, after a day of wine tasting & local restaurants kitchens closed early, we thought we could have dinner at the hotel but nope. It closed up earlier that night than the previous evening. Luckily, the pizza shop a block west of the hotel still had its kitchen open & we could order take out.

The manager, Anthony, is very professional and extremely welcoming upon arrival!! The hotel itself was very clean and our room was immaculate!! We had dinner at the bar the first night which was very tasty and nicely presented. Heidi was an excellent bar tender, server and host!! She was very busy, but got it all done with a smile on her face and a bubbly personality!!

The continental breakfast was okay. The only dissatisfaction for me would be, is that there was nothing hot on the buffet other than coffee and a toasted bagel.

Great location downtown with ample parking behind the hotel. Walkable to local attractions. Restaurant on site with very good food and excellent service. Clean and well-designed room. Appreciated the mini-fridge and microwave. Also appreciated the free, though limited, breakfast with good coffee. I liked the stairway to use as alternative to elevator.

Room was small but well-designed and comfortable.
