We liked pretty much everything, the breakfast was fantastic, nothing fried for a change which was great, everything was healthy, we enjoyed it very much. Location of the lodge is also great, hiking is just around the corner or literally just behind the lodge. Then there are the owners who are just an incredible couple, very welcoming, very warm and with great suggestions of what to do in the area. We loved the room, the cleanliness of it, the fact that it was literally sound proof and we couldn't here our next door neighbors. Overall, everything was just perfect!!!

Loved the location next to Whiteface and it was not too far from Lake Placid. The lodge was cute and with 18” of fresh snow, it looked beautiful. We enjoyed the dining room and had breakfast there both days which was great. Keith the manager is super friendly and treats you like family and makes sure your stay is excellent. The level of service was above and beyond what you normally experience.

The room was clean and the bed was comfy. The bathroom was renovated nicely abs it had a great shower! The room was carpeted which is the only thing I don’t like on a hotel because it always causes a musty smell. it wasn’t terrible but if they changed anything, that would be worth it.

Everything was great. Keith and Jen were wonderful. All the recommendations were spot on . The fire pit and hot tub was great and relaxing. Planning on returning in February.

everything was amazing! the room was clean, new and updated. breakfast was great. bed was comfortable and the staff were unbelievable- so nice, accommodating and helpful. We loved it. 10/10!

Keith is the customer service king! he was so welcoming to us and goes out of his way to make you comfortable and happy. The breakfast was amazing. He even drove us to and from whiteface mountain.

The heater in our room was a little loud, but otherwise all was great!

Rooms are clean and comfortable and the entire vibe from the staff and owners is unreal. They treat you like family from the moment you arrive, they went out of their way to offer little touches like towels for our bikes and to make everything about our time with them amazing. They offered up conveniences without us even asking and their kindness was incredible. I wish I could stay there every week. The hot tub was wonderful and beautiful set partially in the woods and breakfast was perfect. COVID safe, they care about your safety. Frank is an absolute joy to meet and be around. Could not say enough wonderful things about staying here- if you can, you need to. I don’t know if we will ever stay in town (LP) again vs staying here.

NOTHING. It’s amazing!!

Keith and crew are so friendly and welcoming! When Jenn found out we were staying there for our anniversary, she made sure a special treat was in the room when we got there. What a sweet, unexpected gift! The Lodge is beautiful with loads of gorgeous wood working, and the breakfast spread that is put out is vast. We totally enjoyed every minute of our time there!

It would have been better if we had more time to stay there! Unfortunately, reality called and we had to go home.

Exceptionally clean and well appointed room! Wonderful breakfast options and amazing and super friendly staff.
