It was my first time on the snow so I didn't know what to expect. I arrived during the night and got a quick check in, the room is not luxury but has a good microwave, a small fridge and coffee maker. The room is warm, including a wall heating in the bathroom that make super confy to have a good shower. On the next day when we wake up we had an amazing front view of beech mountain, maybe this is the best part. You'll have to drive a 3 minutes to the sky station, there is a charm little restaurant in the hotel that offer pizza and some drinks that makes it very convenient if you don't want to go out. There's no breakfast included but you can have it down the hall with a scenic view of the mountain.

Daily cleaning, towels change 10/10 for cleanliness! Very friendly and helpful host, Deer in the yard, Pizza in the restaurant downstairs was truly good, actually the best pizza I tried in US for my 6months living here :) WiFi worked well (based on my last experience it deserves a special recognition)

Electric sockets need attention: the one where refrigerator was plugged did not work, we found it on the second day. No breakfast/only microwave in the room. So if you are used to have eggs for breakfast be prepared that those will blow up ;) lol sorry

Steve was awesome and super nice. He is full of helpful information if you ask. We had a slope view room and I loved that there was a door right out to the front porch.

It is older but well kept. I don't know if it was just the people above us or if it is always that loud but the noise was somewhat of an issue. There is no hair dryer in the room. Now this is my own fault because I didn't take mine. Most places seem to have one these days so I didn't even think about it.

The atmosphere was amazing. Staff were absolutely the most welcoming group of people. Both restaurants were superb with unique and very different menus and atmospheres. The views were stunningly breath taking.

The carpet throughout, which they are in the process of making updates. Better lightening throughout the halls would also be very helpful and small tables on the balcony

There was a restaurant in the hotel. The room had a fridge and microwave.The staff also live in the hotel, so when the water was out , they delivered pitchers of water to drink to our rooms before we knew there was a problem. We arrived after an ice storm so many stores/ restaurants had not received supplies. Since the restaurant on site was one of the few open it was busy, but since we were a guest of the hotel, they gave us the option of “take out” and we didn’t have to wait. It was a perfect location between town and the mountain, it was easy to ski for a while the drive back to hotel for rest and a meal. Being close to town it was a short drive to the sledding hill and other activities in town.

It was dated but functional, at the time it was also under renovation so things didn’t always work- like the water.

Our stay was super! Our room was spacious and comfortable and very clean. One night we enjoyed an early evening picnic on the grounds in the company of several deer and fawns. We followed that with drinks at the bar and dinner in the restaurant, both of which were very good. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Steve, chief cook and bottle washer, was a wonderful host and made our visit that much better.

When we arrived it was hard to miss that the landscaping around the building needed a lot of attention. While the entire place was clean top to bottom, certain aspects were somewhat dated.

Location was great. Steve was very attentive to our needs. Large comfortable room with gas fireplace. This is our third stay here and won't be the last. Although we didn't use the restaurant this year, if past years are anything to go by it's good fine dining.

Although the room was comfortable it is fairly outdated. No cooked breakfast that is a big minus for us along with nothing in place regarding hot drinks etc after a long day on the slopes. Plenty of scope to make improvements making it more like a ski Lodge. With all that said we've just finished our third stay and will be back next year.

Located very close to Beech Mountain ski resort for easy commute to the slopes. Bullwinkels is a fun casual pizza place within the hotel.

Hotel is older and looks it. Not that we minded, but don't expect new and fancy facilities.

The location was amazing. The views from the balcony looking at the ski slopes were beautiful. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable. It had a homey atmosphere. I'll go back

value for money. we had the room facing the slopes. two restaurants in the hotel , both provide good food.
