On a snowy cold winter, we stumbled across Waypoint on our drive through Bend, OR. This little hotel, seemingly not in the most popular side of the city but close to downtown, midtown yatch club (food trucks), grocery stores, has delivered everything we needed and more. It was very warm, clean, incredibly comfy bed, quiet, and friendly helpful staff at the front desk and in the bar. There was a microwave, a mini fridge, coffee maker in our room. I enjoyed my shower very much. There was a hot tub I didn't use but seemed quiet popular.

Great big family room with 2 king size beds in one room, and a queen bed in another room. The beds are and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. Big TV, plenty of space for storage. There is a safe box available. Enough towels and shampoo/conditioners/lotions. Additional touches, such as makeup demaquiage wipes are a nice touch. It's a close 10-15 minute walk to the downtown (but if you decide walking, you need to pass under the railroad).

If you have mobility issues, you might have difficulty with bringing your suitcases up the stairs to the 2nd floor (in our case it was not a problem, so that is just a warning) The bathroom is shared for two rooms, and consists of a large sink outside of the bathroom (in the room, not in the bathroom). while the bathroom itself has only a bathtub with shower and toilet, very limited in space. For management: I would suggest adding some nice touches to the bathroom itself.

Excellent place to stay. Rooms are really well set up, plenty of space and room for storing ski gear and luggage. Bed was so comfortable. Shower is a great pressure and a great relief after skiing. Hot tub is also great. The best part is the service and attentiveness to the traveller's needs. The hotel was in contact several times prior to the stay to find out the reasons for our travel and our needs. We also got a lovely Christmas basket from them which was really appreciated. Great reception area with a fire and couches, really enjoyed sitting down having a drink and talking to people.

It would have been great if there was daily room service rather than every third night, but it is not a big deal. They just need hooks in the bathroom to be able to hang your towel if you need to reuse it. But this issue is standard in every single hotel I have ever stayed in.

Nice room with separate beds for 3 guys travelling by my motorcycle. We were able to check in a few hours early which was very much appreciated. Gave us time to see more of Bend. Staff recommended McKay Cottage for breakfast, which was an excellent choice.

Location, while convenient (a block off the highway), is at the intersection of a couple of busy roads, so more noise at night. But I understand it's a trade-off, the convenient location for a little more noise.

Dog friendly, comfortable and big rooms. The rooms were newly renovated and had a modern feel. They treated our 3 year old golden retriever with a lot of love giving him his own bed , towels and treats. Would definitely visit again if traveling with a dog

Rooms were renovated but bathrooms were not which made it still feel like a motel (which is pretty much is) The pool is in the middle of a parking lot making it less appealing

We were traveling from California to Washington, it was just a stopover, easy in and easy out was what we needed and we got it. The room was big and comfortable and quiet. Close to Black Bear Diner and Starbucks, perfect !

It wasn't cheap but it wasn't overpriced either. I'm just saying we did not get a blockbuster bargain on the rate. We absolutely got our money's worth. The thing we didn't like was not your fault, there are no public restrooms at gas stations in Oregon, why ? That made zero sense to us and we have never encountered that anywhere but in Oregon.

Wow! This is the only place we will stay at from here on out. I have to go to Bend every three months for medical and our Maine Coon cat travels with us. Very few places allow cats and those that do, are usually cramped and not as clean as we prefer, and it is a by guess by golly as to the beds and linens. Not only are the beds, room size and linens superior, the staff is as well. There is a Black Bear diner right next door so if I need to sleep in, my better half can go over there for coffee.

The room was clean and spacious. Having a sink and extra counter available outside the bathroom made getting ready in the morning and evening a breeze! The beds were very comfortable and supportive.

The free wifi connection was s...l...o...w... and we both were grateful to have unlimited data plans on our phones. The location, while ultra-convenient, did experience road noise we could hear in the room at night.

This is a nice property, plenty of parking and the rooms are quite large and very well laid out for storing your gear. Clean and comfortable and contemporary design. Beautiful lobby area and also a firepit area. There is an outdoor pool for summer but it was closed in March. There is no restaurant but the lobby has coffee, snack and some pre-prepared food to get your by.

There was nothing I did not like.
