The owner was exceptionally friendly and helpful. I understand that it has been a challenge for the owners to renovate, upgrade and clean up the od motel and the grounds and is ongoing. However, the room was clean and as updated as possible due to the age of the building. It would be nice if the old lounge could be renovated back into a restaurant and bar, but that is probably just a dream.

The motel owners have done their best to make it a pleasant overnight stay, but the location is a challenge. There are no decent restaurants nearby, apart from a Denny's which is mainly a trucker's place. There is a drive up restaurant across the highway, easily accessible, but only serves picnic style food and ice cream. The burger was delicious!

The couple who run the place and their sweet dog were so kind and friendly. Loved the character and charm of the cute A-frame and the interior of the rooms. Everything was clean and fresh and comfortable. There was an issue with booking.com and the room I reserved sold out but they were still able to accommodate me which I was super thankful for. Can’t wait to come back!!!

It was all good. A bit noisy in the morning due to it being right off the highway but that was to be expected and didn’t bother me at all. Also the room seemed to slope downwards as you walked towards the back end which was more amusing than anything.

This is a perfect place for travelers who need to rest for the night. It is a cute little place, but most importantly, safe and clean. The place is family owned (new management), and they run the place. They are really nice people and are working hard to bring this nice motel to its best.

Honestly, it fulfills its purpose. It is not a 5-star hotel, and it's not intended to be. This is the best place to stay if what you are looking for is somewhere safe, nice, and clean to stay the night.

We enjoyed the independent rooms-no noise from neighbors. Though small, the room was clean, comfortable and more than we expected for the money. I personally appreciated the in-room DirecTV system that allowed plenty of viewing options.

The a/c unit was a bit noisy, but amply cool. I have nothing more to complain about. The bed was a bit small, but comfy for a spring-type mattress. We slept well.

The owner of this motel has made an effort. The cabins are absolutely wonderful and cozy. The man that checked us in was super friendly and a lot of travel information is available in the reception. You can also borrow games and puzzles. The resturant was not open but we didn't mind as the bar was nice. It has a cozy local pub-feeling and the bartender was just as friendly and service minded as the guy that checked us in. If we didn't have to go out for something to eat, we probably would have stayed there all night. We felt right at home and we would love to stay here again.

It was very refreshing to stay in an A-frame cabin with one bed in a mezzanine, and the other underneath, as compared to any standard motel/hotel layout of two beds next each other. Even though the cabins are quite old (mid-century), they were very cozy and very clean, with wooden interior and modern appliances. This boutique Motel is privately run by a super nice and friendly couple from SoCal, who continue to improve and renovate the place but maintaining the mid-century vibe.

Renovated A-frame motel is great for those who appreciate places like this. Very clean. Important things have been updated: toiletries avoid plastic, extra cloths for spills to keep towels nice, small fridge.

Location is right on freeway so convenient, but not that pretty. Room is small so there’s no good place to relax. Wish the room’s windows had sheer curtains so could have natural light and privacy.

Cozy little A-frame “cabins” makes for a quiet stay, no neighbors banging walls or ceiling. A couple of friendly chickens greet you in the parking lot in the morning. Very clean, new little bar soaps much better than the liquid shower soap (to me). Easy parking and all ground floor access. Friendly staff and 24hr Dennys at end of the road.

Quiet and safe. Very easy access on and off the freeway. Great husband and wife team are managers/owners. They have owned this property for one year and are doing a great job in upgrading. No room noises, like the neighbor’s TV, because each bungalow, A-frame, is separate from the other, no adjoining walls. Rustic and comfortable. The rooms are compact and well outfitted, everything I expect from a hotel room was there. This includes microwave, small refrigerator, and good TV. The sink and shower water was hot very quickly and the water pressure was great. The bed mattress was extremely comfortable.

Love the nostalgia of the place. Individual buildings for rooms means no noisy neighbors. The lobby was like stepping back in time. The people that own this place really were exceptional. From letting my kids play with their dog to showing us their chickens, they made the stay that much more enjoyable.

It’s an older property which means the bathroom and shower are going to be smaller.
