The location was perfect and beautiful the entrance of the hotel face the traffic circle where a big beautiful Christmas tree was placed. I traveled with my kids first time to Gettysburg Couple of restaurants and nice stores where accessible, the parking lot behind the hotel was a plus. The front desk agent Tryton was so friendly, fast to process the checking and very professional. All the staff that I interacted with was super nice always smiling and welcoming. I requested to Tryton a room with a view and a microwave and I got my request right away with not hesitation. I liked how the hotel was decorate for Christmas time so I wanted to take a family picture using my phone timer and suddenly a young man of the room service staff was walking by and stoped to do what he was doing and offered to take our family picture., that was so sweet and kind. The 2 ladies bartenders were fun and friendly. To have a fireplace inside the room was delightful. The others guests I meet in the hall, lobby or elevator were very friendly and I feel safe during all my stay. We were so welcomed during our 3 days in the hotel.

Only one thing... it would be so nice if the facing out windows glasses were clean to enjoy the view better.

Great location! The hotel is at the very center of town with fun shops and restaurants all within walking distance. The hotel was very comfortable from the lobbies (bar/Starbucks) to the rooms. Parking was extra but safe and very easily accessible. We thought about cheaper motels outside of the town center and are glad we chose to stay at the Gettysburg Hotel instead. I also need to compliment the staff. We arrived at 2:00 in the morning and the staff was friendly and waiting for us!

Location, view, cleanliness and surprisingly quiet for being at the circle on a holiday weekend! Staff members were very polite and eager to help with any requests and were informative.

Our room did not have a refrigerator and the TV doesn't allow for streaming services to be cast from a smartphone/tablet. Basic cable package with no means to rent movies/shows. We watched the Gettysburg movie and Ken Burns series on our smartphones.

Great location, decor, customer service

Having to pay for breakfast, drinking water and parking, 2nd night was higher than I thought it should be as a Hilton Honors member. Tried to go thru Hilton Honors phone number but couldn't understand the person on the other end. It's every time we call plus the price is higher than going thru other web sites not happy about that

The restaurant staff for breakfast was great!

I have dietary restrictions. I was told that they could substitute one item for another; however my food came out with the food item I couldn’t have mixed in with the other. Accidents do happen but wanted to make aware for purposes of the staff learning that dietary restrictions can be serious and not always a preference.

I loved the location, location, location. There's so much within an easy walk. One Lincoln restaurant, in the hotel, is tops. Excellent food and friendly staff.

Due to rennovations in progress, our room had a chemical smell that neither vents nor open windows could remove. I should have requested a different room. But I didn't. Won't make that mistake again. Also, the exercise room is extremely small and located in the basement level. I felt uneasy working out there as a single woman. So I didn't.

The location was great. We were within walking distance of most of the shopping/tours etc. The room was big, the bed was comfortable and the staff was friendly. The check in/out process was easy.

The parking was expensive (though worth it), and the lack of mini fridge in the room was a bummer.

The rooms were clean and spacious and the beds were very comfortable.

There was no refrigerator or microwave in the rooms. Rooms were not ready at 4pm check in, it wasn’t until 6pm that our room was ready. Some staff at the hotel were very friendly, others did not present the most friendly attitude towards customers. Another couple that was with us has no AC in their room, this was addressed multiple times and staff did not seem to care.

The location is fantastic! I love being right in the center of town, especially at the holidays. And the hotel itself is great for when you need a break from all that eating and shopping!

I know this has been a thing since COVID, but I wish that mini fridges came in all the rooms. I know I could have asked, but for what we paid for the room, it should already be there.

Historic. Excellent location to walk to many options for eating, browsing small shops and visiting other historic sites.

No free parking, you must pay to park in a nearby parking ramp. They have the typical heavy room doors that slam for those too lazy/inconsiderate to guide them closed. You will hear and feel everyone on your floor entering/leaving their rooms.
