The room was clean and comfortable after we changed rooms

The 1st room we were in had an air conditioner that did not work. I called the front desk and they changed our room. All was good in the second room. The next morning, I went to the desk to ensure that they knew about the problem with the first room so that no one else would be given that room until they had it fixed. The desk clerk spoke quite rudely to me, saying very curtly that they are aware of the problem. It was interpreted by me that she was annoyed that I spoke to her about it. Perhaps I misunderstood her tone. But it left me with not a good feeling. It felt to me that the staff was aggravated that we complained and had our room changed after that brief conversation, but the first room was very hot, and the air conditioner would not turn on.

We stayed here last minute on a last minute stop in Hershey for fall break on our way through town. This hotel was one of the best I have stayed in for years— it was insanely clean (10/10… literally the cleanest hotel room I’ve EVER stayed in), the staff were super friendly and check in was seamless. The bedding was very soft and clean, the mattress was amazingly comfortable— even the pillows were superb. I wanted to duplicate the entire bed in my bedroom at home, it was that comfortable. I’ve stayed in many Best Westerns, and this was by far the best I’ve seen. I wish all hotels were this great! (For reference, I don’t generally write reviews, but felt that this hotel deserved it).

This is our third time staying at this hotel, and it's a great experience every time! From the young gentleman that checked us in on 12/23 , till check out time, it was fantastic. Our room was extremely clean, parking is ample, the location to Hershey Park and other places is super close, the free breakfast was very good, and the free 24hr coffee is a nice added bonus.. The floor that we were on was quiet as well.. Based on my experience, I highly recommend this hotel.. The price was great and we will def be staying there again..

Hotel was new, clean and very comfortable beds. We asked for extra towels and they were delivered right away. Nice bonus was free breakfast which was convenient to have without having to run out and get it. Saved time and money before going off to Hershey's park. I also liked small terrace which we utilized at night to sit out by the fire with family and friends.

Everything was pretty up to our standards except pressure of the water in the shower was weak but not a deal breaker.

We were on the third floor. There is a sign that says quiet time from 10 to 8 AM. However, about 1 o’clock the people above us were moving around. It seems the floor is between the floors is very thin, and you could hear every footstep the people above us took. It kept me awake for more than an hour. Did not get a good night sleep because every time they moved around above me, I could hear them walking.

Location, cleanliness, friendly staff, hot breakfast!

Cost...we attended a conference that had a group rate offered, in the Spring- all discounted rooms were not available. When I checked closer to the event...Suprise...several rooms available! No longer at group rate, but almost double that! That truly is my Only negative, we were able to be in the same location as family, so of course I paid what was required...just disappointed w/ the huge $$. 😕

The breakfast was fresh and well cared for. It was the same both days - scrambled eggs, sausage patties, tatertots, pancakes on demand, the usual collection of breads with a gluten free option and a fresh yogurt maker. The latte maker was only making regular coffee. Ice maker on our floor worked flawlessly.

Beds were pretty hard. Water pressure in the shower was really low and hot water wasn't consistent - I took a relatively late shower (8:30 AM) and had intermittent hot water.

Breakfast was fantastic! My kids loved it especially the pancake maker. Beds were very comfortable and room was nice large enough for family.

Management seems to have a crazy view of customer service, would not provide extra towels. Most of the shower soaps were empty upon arrival and could not be filled until the next day. I stay at hotels all over the world and never encountered such issues. I did not speak to management bc the items were minor but SMH. It’s not the most expensive hotel in the area but it’s certainly not the cheapest. Will probably try a different hotel next time we visit the area.

Cleanliness

Floors. The only reason it wasn’t overall exceptional stay is there must have been kids in it on above us who did no stop running back and forth from 4 pm until 9 pm’ish. I made all it loud in our room even while trying to relax and watch television. It at times became very annoying and even made us wonder if they would stop so we could sleep that night. It is just a pricier room to have to deal with that but that said me and my wife are not complainers so we sucked it up. We did not reach out to hotel staff to ask for anything to be done and we all know kids are kids. Everything else including staff was very nice and was there if you had questions.
