The location was close to all the areas we wanted to visit. We always visit Kitchen Kettle Village and the motel was only a half mile from there. And only about 17 minutes from Shady Maple smorgasbord. They offered us a complimentary 2-hour tour bus tour around the Amish area and a farm. The room was very clean and quiet. It had a king size bed and a small sofa, which were both very comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was excellent and we had lots of hot water. The room had a Kuerig coffee maker and a remote controlled air conditioner, although it was too cold to use that. Each room has its own dedicated parking spot. I would definitely stay there again.

There wasn't anything we didn't like. We didn't try their breakfast since we were so close to Shady Maple.

Nice breakfast. Great location. Extremely clean. Older motel completely refurbished. Everything inside and out was perfect. Nice and quiet. People sitting outside relaxing in the evening near their rooms or in the yard. Barry's Car Barn is close and very nice. Stoltzfus Meats is close and has a restaurant called Amos which was great for soup and sandwiches. Cackleberry Antique Mall very close. Bird-In-Hand Farmers Market had really nice shops there. Not very far to get to outlets and other things. You could walk to Kitchen Kettle Village if you're in good shape.

A minor comment - not a deal breaker. The A/C unit in the room is a little loud.

it was a charming place, centrally located to everything we wanted to see. we liked that we could park right in front of our room with a marked spot & no stairs for my handicapped husband to try to negotiate. The staff were all very friendly & helpful. The breakfast was fine, enough selections to find something to eat, doughnuts, bagels, fruit, etc. plus the waffles & sausage gravy/biscuits & hot oatmeal, fresh every morning. Fresh coffee available all day was a plus, too. The room was fine, beds comfortable & everything was clean. We would stay there again.

No complaints really, we enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful stay. Everything was clean, comfortable, and beautiful! Loved sitting areas both in the front and looking out over the countryside in the back! Food was excellent. But the people! They were all so kind, helpful, and friendly! Good recommendations on things to do and places to eat! We definately will come again!!

What could be better??

The facility was Very clean. Well maintained. The staff were friendly and kind. The continental breakfast was more than adequate. The rooms a good size and very clean. Outlets where needed. Towels good.

The mattresses were lousy. We did change rooms and they compd us the upgrade but still the mattress was lousy. I now know we could have requested egg crate foam and a pillow top, which we would do if we return.

I’ve stayed here multiple times and will continue to come back. Clean, comfortable rooms. Great location. Friendly, attentive staff - especially during breakfast service. Continental breakfast with a nice selection - biscuits with sausage gravy being one of the options! Healthier option available too though - oatmeal, fruit, yoghurt. I quite enjoyed the English muffins and the ‘make your own’ waffles.

I had no issues or complaints about any aspect of my stay.

As always I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this property. Always very clean, mattress and pillows are comfortable, excellent location. Nice selections for breakfast (love the sausage gravy and biscuits!) Did not take advantage of the fire pit but did enjoy sitting out at the back of the property enjoying a cup of coffee. Great to be close enough to walk to Kitchen Kettle. And as a solo traveler I appreciate the security latch on the windows that allowed me to leave the window open a few inches and enjoy the fresh air without any safety concern.

Nothing I disliked

The breakfast was yummy. The room was clean, nice and comfortable. Plenty of ice in the machine and the room had a working fridge and microwave!, The location was a distance from the church I was attending for a conference but worth it. I'm trying to figure out a reason to travel back that way and stay there much longer.

I wanted to take a bath but the stopper on the tub wasn't working. There was a fly in the room that 'haunted' me all night! I had to call the office and wait for an iron to be delivered, which caused me to be a little behind with making it to my meeting (but I guess I should've checked if there was one in the room the night before).

It was good. I would have preferred not to have plastic ustensiles. Real cups would be nicer. I don’t like throwing away so much plastic. Also it would be nice to have plain yoghurt for those of us who have to be careful about our sugar intake. Otherwise it was a nice breakfast and the motel was clean, comfortable and quiet. The landscaping in front was very well done. Overall I would recommend the place with no hesitation.

The use of plastic instead of real ustensiles. Some alternatives to the sweets: plain yaourt and cheese maybe?

The Location was great near Kitchen Kettle Village. Very clean and polite staff, breakfast was good. We were able to swim at one if their other facilities just down the rd and got 20% off dinner at the Bird in Hand family restaurant. My granddaughter loved watching the horse and buggies go by, we went for a buggy ride the next morning. Will go back again for sure.

Everything was great, the breakfast dining area is small but there is room outside to sit or you can go back to your room because everything is close together.
