My experience at WoodSpring Suites in Fort Mill was generally positive, though there are some areas for improvement. The room was comfortable and spacious, making it ideal for relaxing after a busy day. The beds in room 414 were particularly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. One notable feature was the kitchenette, which included a stove, refrigerator, and microwave, offering the convenience of preparing meals. However, I noticed that it lacked basic kitchen utensils, pots, and pans, which significantly limited its usability. This could be improved if the hotel provided a basic kitchen kit for guests. WoodSpring Suites is a good option if you're looking for comfort and space, but it's important to note that if you plan to use the kitchen, you'll need to bring your own utensils.

During my visit, I noticed that the customer service was not up to par. The lady at the front desk came across as quite rude, which negatively impacted my experience. A friendlier and more respectful approach towards guests could make a significant difference in how we feel when visiting this place. Customer service is a key aspect of any experience, and I hope the importance of providing polite and professional service is taken into consideration.

I like how we could move the beds. We pushed them to the wall to have more space. I like how there’s two stove tops to save us from ordering out. We are moving to apartment so we did have the pots & pans with us but for someone who doesn’t have that it would be nice if it was included in the room or even get it from front desk. Speaking of front desk, the front desk manager, Valerie, was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! She’s super nice and just a wonderful person to be around. Loveeee seeing her!

Just one thing I didn’t like. The smell of the hotel but like I said there’s stove tops in rooms so people are cooking.

I was open minded because the review were all over the board. The staff was extremely friendly, on phone ahead of stay and in person. The location is somewhat bare bones (no coffee in rooms, nothing in the kitchenette, no washcloths). But it more than met our needs of a clean place to stay with our dogs near I-77. There was much white noise from building and a/c unit but I tend to sleep better with that anyway. On a side note, it appears there are many long term customers living/staying here.

It was our second time here. We find it close to relatives in our case and clean. Maybe it's a bit worn, but it's a good place to stay overall. No breakfast served and has vending machines and a small kitchen to cook or microwave things. Bring plates and utensils.

No coffee machine in lobby this time.

The receptionist Kayla was amazing and very helpful ! I will definitely be booking and again and referring this place to family and friends. It’s rare to find great customer service but I know if we come here and see Kayla we will be just fine she definitely made my experience a great one!

Nothing I loved everything

Room was clean, Staff were friendly and helpful, excellent value

Few amenities, definitely a “BYO food/hygiene products/etc”. Apparently dishes were available at reception, but I didn’t need any, so that wasn’t an issue for me

Great value for a longer stay. "Roomy" Rooms had good size fridge w freezer. Microwave, stovetop burner and plenty of cabinets & shelves. Bring cooking utensils/pots if staying in and cooking. Beds were great. No cleaning service which was fine; garbage pail liners provided. Charge for additional linens if needed. Pet friendly, laundry room & small gym on premises. No frills, but efficient. Clean!

Bathroom light was very bright; I will bring a night light if we stay again.

The property was close by to Carowinds and the fireworks store. The fitness area was nice, shower was clean, room was nice, and had a good selection of channels.

The AC in the room did not keep the room cool. Had the temperature all the way down and on high and it was still very warm. The shower was big but had no water pressure.

The staff is very helpful, rooms are spacious and comfortable

No coffee…. It used to be 24hrs in lobby, now they say it’s from 6am to 11 am but at least 8 times out of 10 it’s not on at 6am.

The staff that I encountered on my stay was very friendly and helpful with meeting requests especially Stacey. Great customer service from them all. They greeted me with smiles and made me feel at home.
