I loved the room. The location was perfect. Staff was pleasant but several staff members can not speak english.

The POOL WAS NASTY. You could not see your feet in the pool it was so dirty, and a pile of hair floated up to my mother while she was sitting on the side of the pool. Didn't like also how every single thing was a charge. We had a handicap tag and had to park over on the side. Because vehicles were parked everywhere at the front of the building. And it's almost $20 per day to park. Crazy.

Stayed here for two nights while visiting Chattanooga. The hotel's location simply can't be beat, it is within easy walking or driving distance of a great number of amazing sights, restaurants, bars, breweries, et c. The hotel itself was recently renovated and the room I stayed in – half of a former train car – was immaculate and felt very luxurious. While there's no traditional breakfast service the café in the lobby sells coffee and pastries. Parking was easy to find right outside the entrance. Every member of staff I interacted with was super helpful and friendly. Next time I'm in Chattanooga, I'd love to stay here again.

One slight downside of staying in one of the train cars is that windows on both sides are at ground level and so unless you keep the curtains closed every random passer-by, restaurant goer or other guests can see straight into your room. Still, keeping the curtains closed is no biggie.

What a lovely spot, behind the old train station. Its like stepping back into time. Unique, quality furnishings. Clean and safe, great staff. We enjoyed our stay and took photos of some of the decor! Our room had a cute sitting area with a table which was a cool space to be able to sit and work or eat. Walk 10min down the road to Kennys for brunch, or Frothy Monkey in the Choo Choo station. Free city shuttle at the end of the driveway to explore Chattanooga. Short drive out to Little Coyote for dinner - delicious. Great stay!

Paying for parking (but we had no problems parking in front of the hotel)

This is an unusual review but hear me out. We attended a family wedding and spent time in a car driving for hours with a family member who called us that he had tested positive for COVID after we left. That meant we were badly exposed, even though we were shot and boosted. So we changed our original plans to visit other family members to self-isolate and test daily. We chose the Chalet because the layout allowed us to enter and exit through a little used side door, away from the main populated areas easily, and location-wise there were many good restaurants nearby where we could eat outdoors away from others, and have a comfortable room where we basically didn't interact with anyone directly. We didn't have the cleaning staff in the room but they dropped materials off for us outside the door. The room was on the second floor and had a large sliding door style window we could vent outdoors. And our caution was justified, second day in, I tested positive, but we could be comfortable and thoroughly entertained in our isolation in a beautiful space. Although we really didn't use any Hotel facilities beyond the room, the staff's suggestion on where to eat outside and places we could safely go to walk without being close to others was great. I've never enjoyed a stay in one room quite as much as this.

The room was beautiful, but the lighting was all free standing and local, so overall the room was pretty dark.

It was a really cool setup and beautifully arranged. Lots of nice places to sit and enjoy the day and night even in cooler weather. We stayed in a train car which was unique and comfortable.

$2.50 a tea bag was steep. Also, we took a coke from the minibar, which we had no problem paying for, but while we where enroot to our next destination, they attempted to charge our card 6 times for this $12 coke which froze our card under fraud suspicion. Then when I called to pay them, I was placed on hold for 32min. Gave up and never heard another word about it.

Staff members were extremely helpful enthusiastic! Room was clean..love the bottles of water with electrolytes added..Also drinking brevarages was on deck inside of the mini refrigerator. I will most definitely re-visit this place again. Bar on site..Dining restaurant on site, ARCADES on site for the kids. NIce Pool on site for the swimmers 🏊‍♀️. Nice gift shop on site for the spenders. I will re- visit this hotel again. You can even get married on site here. Next time I will try one of the train carts room. If you want a romantic time!! I love the lighting in the rooms ..I love that dark comfortable home feel. Just right for sleeping after a long ride. I do recommend making this you choice of a half way stop if you are traveling long hours. Stop here and get rested and drink a beer..eat a steak and go to sleep..wake up and head on out!

No microwave in room nor in site for the GUEST to heat up food. No Ice machine on deck ..the guest have to go to the front desk to ask for a pal of Ice. No bathtub in rooms only walk in showers. After driving 10-12hrs...We always look forward to a hot bath. No Free coffee No free breakfast for this expensive price..atleast we should have free breakfast! but there was a coffee maker inside of the rooms. Otherwise it's was a great visit! All of the kind staffers made this visit awesome for my family and I.

Very cute hotel. I loved the "moody" decorated rooms. The decor was the highlight for me. The attention to detail. The bed was comfortable. The staff was very nice. The location is wonderful walking distance to resturants and shops. Very cute area.

My room was on the lower level/ground floor. The terrace gate was not locked at night. That was a bit concerning for me. I spoke with a worker about he shared that they locked the main gate but not those. It was still unsettling because the rooms have sliding doors to access the patio (each ground floor room has one) and the gate leads to the parking area that is next to the street. Not a busy street but...

The hotel was very charming and clean. The decoration was very in keeping with the style and time period, yet it still offered modern conveniences like USB charging ports. It was easy to find and within walking distance of several restaurants and bars.

For a city as small a city as Chattanooga, I think it's inappropriate to charge hotel guests for parking. Also I get that the lighting was meant to be part of the theme, but these rooms are very dark. Also the welcome email sounds like coffee and pastries would be free in the morning, but they are not. Inexpensive, but still maybe reword the welcome email to manage expectations.

What a beautiful hotel! One of the most beautiful hotels I've ever been to. The reception was very well decorated, and the room, every detail. My husband and I loved it. The shower was incredible, a strong shower, the bed was very comfortable, the pillows were comfortable, although it was very large and there was no lower one, but that wasn't a problem. I loved the option of having a balcony-style table where you can sit and chat and have a drink. I loved that we could change the temperature of the room ourselves. The pool area is super pretty and has a bar where you can buy something and sit and relax. I really loved it. The location of the hotel is great because there are restaurants nearby that you can walk to.

The only thing I didn't like was the cleanliness of the bathroom, because I found hair from previous guests stuck to the wall and the bathroom door was very dusty.

Breakfast is non-existent, so that is the only drawback. There is some grab and go, but would forego that in an instant to stay here again. I travel a lot, both in the US and abroad, and cannot remember ever having a more comfortable bed. And the room was really delightful—beautifully decorated, spacious, immaculate, and very functional. I imagined I was a dignitary traveling in the early 1900s. Loved the location next to the Chattanooga Choo Choo and original train station and hope they will continue to refurbish the train cars for overnight guests.

A small thing, but only coffee was gratis. A single tea bag set me back $4 and that was self-service. Also, would have liked a microwave in the room. But would still prefer to stay here again over much more expensive choices!
