The rooms and property were beautiful and well maintained.
While the staff was helpful, it didn’t seem genuine. When I went to check out on Sunday morning, the front desk individual was in the kitchen. I knew she was probably busy so I waited a few minutes before I went to ask if I could check out. When I caught her attention, I said “I know you’re busy but may I check out?” She said “yes I am” and went to check me out as if I was an annoyance. It might have just been an off day. We all have them.

I chose this hotel because it was in the near vicinity of Big Bend National Park and the McDonald Observatory as well as near several restaurants. The room was on the ground floor, and I was able to park my motorcycle just outside the window. The room and bed were comfortable and clean. The location was good but slightly outside of the town area, which reduced some traffic and traffic noise. As noted above the was a restaurant nearby, however the prices were high (in my opinion) for the quality of food. There was a free breakfast included but as usual mainly cereal, make your own waffles, bread, coffee, etc. I would not recommend the hotel based on the breakfast alone but was convenient and enough to hold me over until a proper meal.
As I said before I was on the ground floor and able to park in front of the room but interestingly enough you had two options for the curtains. Open where anyone in the parking lot look directly into your room or pulled with blackout curtains so the room was dark, and you had to turn on lights. My recommendation as I left was to include light colored simi-opaque curtains that would allow some light into the room without the full view open curtains. This could be done for the ground floor rooms.

We stayed here 5 nights, including a weekend. We never had any problems at all. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The room was quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The interior of the hotel is very clean and well maintained. The area around the hotel is beautiful. The pool is in a separate building. While we didn't swim, we did sit in the area around the spa. It was very comfortable and well maintained. The grounds are very well maintained. The parking lot and the surrounding landscape are kept immaculately clean, which is a feat in windy Far West Texas. The hotel is associated with Spicewood Restaurant, about 1/4 mile away. You can walk to the restaurant from the property. The food was very good with great service and huge portions.
I would have rated the Hotel a 10 but I was a bit disappointed in the breakfast offerings at the hotel. Pretty much a pastry and coffee. Juice was available but you had to pay extra for it. We stayed here several years back and if I remember correctly, the hotel served a full breakfast. The lighting in the room was a bit dim. It would be good to have at least one bright light to turn off and on.

The Parker is a renovated motel that is over the top decorated and has a great casual vibe. Love the random art and extras all over. That was a surprise. The rooms are comfortable if not luxe (obviously) - although the toiletries in the shower were local and amazing. I forget the brand but really great. It was terrific stay! Staff were exceptionally nice.
I don't recall if it is the parking lot lights or from the neighboring fire station but you have to keep the blinds shut tight at night. I wanted to open a window but I couldn't get circulation without it feeling like daylight. Such a small thing, and the air-conditioning worked. The free breakfast was better than average for sure, but it was gone very fast. I didn't care, but if you were counting on eating...get there early if it seems busy (and it was for us).

All employees were very friendly. The workout/gym/pool/exercise area was the best although I was not able to use it on this time around due to my schedule and weather.
The bathroom door design was very flimsy effecting privacy. The price for the room is fare if complimentary breakfast is provided. Some people need to get up and have their breakfast before starting day. It's better if a person does not have to find and drive to another place to have breakfast. I would have been willing to pay extra just for a descent breakfast at your facility.

Quater Circle 7 /The Parker Hotel is the very best accommodations in Alpine, Tx! The hotel is rustic/west Texas feel, but very luxurious and great amenities. Year-round pool, whirlpool, gym and spa. With reservations, you may get a massage or facial. They also have gifts and very nice lavender products from Fredericksburg, Tx. There is also a great restaurant/ by the same owners next to the hotel. I hope to be back many times!

An amazing evening, I will definitely be going back and spending more time at this fabulous hotel. The front desk young lady was fantastic. She was so friendly and helpful. It was our first time in Alpine and she told us the places she likes to eat and what she knew to do. Our room was fantastic we had a king suite it was large, clean, and the bed was amazing. I slept so good and I usually only do 4-6 hours a night. The hot tub was amazing and the views were excellent. The spa products in the room were so good, I bought some to take home. Will definitely book a spa visit the next time we visit and bring our son too.
Nothing it was absolutely perfect.

The location and views were great.
The breakfast was horrible and so was the coffee bar. They were out of ingredients we needed for our coffee. Almond Milk and cold brew. We got a blended mocha drink and it had no flavor..she also went and got ice out of the ice machine down the hall which I do not like using for drinks. I usually use the ice machines for keeping drinks cold in a bucket. They tend to be dirty .

Very nice hotel! Beautiful room with great furnishings and nicely decorated. Nice lavender soaps and shampoos. Very cozy, comfortable beds and pillows. Everything was very clean, maybe even new? Staff was friendly. Good location.
Not sure if there was elevator, but didn’t see one. Expected free pastries and coffee…no pastries available but a couple breakfast burritos were left if you got there quick enough. As a family of 4, reserving a king suite room with the pullout, I thought that the pullout would have sheets on it or maybe extra pillows and sheets set to the side, but I had to go downstairs to request bedsheets and make up the pullout myself…

Hotel Parker was perfect location closing out our Chisos Basin camping trip at BBNP before returning to Dallas. Facilities were clean, bright and comfortable. While we did not use the on-site restaurant, my daughter-in-law and I did take advantage of wellness spa and had massages. This was a nice treat after camping and hiking. All staff were kind and responsive. There is plenty of parking and hotel is located just on outskirts of town for a quiet night.
There was nothing I didn't like. Good value, great amenities, perfect location with excellent staff.
