We really enjoyed the animals and details of our stay! We loved the food in the refrigerator and the wine upon arrival. I would come back in a heartbeat.

I can only think of one thing I would change about this property, and that would be the air conditioner. My husband and I have a hard time sleeping without a cool air conditioner and despite putting it on 68 it really didn’t work well. Nonetheless we were able to make do with a fan but didn’t sleep our best.

Nice, secluded, private location. Loved the resident animals, the surrounding nature, the sunrise from the hot tub. Well maintained, yet rural farm feeling. Owner was extra kind, responded to messages promptly. Breakfast was a great surprise, fresh, hot cinnamon rolls with minimum prep.

NOT on the owner! Understand you can't pick your guests. Neighbors (5 very young ladies) made the evening serenity lost by blasting rap until after 10pm when asked to turn the volume down, plus making a giant mess, including broken glass in / around hot tub. Please set rules for noise pollution.

The accommodation was charming, well appointed, and had everything we needed! The homemade breakfast items were terrific. We loved being out in the country and away from people. The animals were adorable although Lorenzo the llama was a little greedy. Very pleasant and relaxing stay! I highly recommend it!

this property was wonderful and everything was pretty much exactly like it was stated. We had some trouble opening the door, but the small print on the sign tells how to do it. Also, the bed is very soft so two adults together might find that challenging. We had a blow up mattress with us so it was no trouble. We had MORE than enough food and having it done so we prepared when WE were ready was perfect. We actually left some of the food behind since there was so much. Read everything that is written by the owners and you cannot go wrong. We will definitely come again!! The closeness to Luckenback and Fredricksberg is wonderful for the days, and the peaceful country nights was unbeatable.

The bed is a bit too soft for my taste.

What didn’t we like. It was an incredible stay and we couldn’t have asked for anything to make it better. Loved loved loved the animals. Can’t wait to return!

A queen or king size bed would have been great. But only as a very minor request. Only because my husband is slightly over 6’ and is a bed hog. Haha

great off the path location without being too far out, all the breakfast items were great and easy to prepare. It was quiet and the complimentary wine was great. All the little extras in the room were well thought out. I loved feeding and patting on the donkeys and llama.

Nothing that I can think of. All my communications were promptly responded to and the information I received after my booking matched what I found on the property.

This property provided us a wonderful and relaxing weekend getaway. We love the Fredericksburg area but staying in town is too much hustle and bustle due to the amount of visitors to Fredericksburg. A Barn at the Quarry is quiet and serene and just far enough out of town to feel very secluded.

LOVED the animals! The amount of food, wine and snacks provided was really amazing and appreciated!

Our room was very clean, the linens were fresh, but there was a slight musty smell (probably due to the jetted tub) and our shower did not fully go on - it's an easy fix by a plumber. The drain cover did not fit the water drain so, no way of taking a jetted bath nor, a shower.

Loved the decor and the jet tub. Perfect secluded couples get away. It was quiet and peaceful! You have everything you need to make your breakfast. There were late snacks, wine, and plenty of breakfast options. You don't get great phone reception but there is wifi if you really need it.

I wish we dould have seen more of the animals on the land but we did get to meet one Llama and he was as cute as can be!

This place is amazing. The owner clearly has put a lot of thought into providing everything you could need, from bathroom supplies to cold water in the fridge, food for the animals and spare batteries for the tv remote control. A good selection of foods supplied for breakfast, along with clear cooking instructions. Loved our stay and would highly recommend. This place just makes you feel relaxed and happy!
