I loved having a sweet little room with my grandkids that was homey and I especially liked the price! I couldn't have afforded to stay an extra night if it had been more expensive.

The only thing I didn't like was that all of the lights didn't work or else we didn't know how to operate them. Also the bathtub faucet handles were hard to turn on and off and the faucets wouldn't turn all the way off BUT it was A WONDERFUL shower!!

The room was mostly updated and did not give me the “hebbie jeebies” so that was good. Smelled fine. Bed was comfortable enough. Floor and bathroom felt clean. Staff was friendly and it seemed like a family business.

The main house smelled like cigarettes and the property was undergoing repairs, so it didn’t look like the pictures. Didn’t know I had a mini fridge until I was leaving the room. Gaps in the door let air out, the corner of the curtain was hanging off the rod so it didn’t block light, and the toilet needs a new float and flap. Room 25.

This is an older motel. The room was very clean, the grounds were good especially silly a covered seating area and the staff was friendly and attentive! I

As a gardener I think some colorful planters would have been nice even though there were beautiful trees, the grounds were mostly green.

This is a wonderful place to stay... affordable with a nice cool room and comfortable bed! My only suggestion would be a deep cleaning. The outdoor area is nice to hang out in chairs with tables and even TVs and fans. The staff is super nice and helpful too. It was an easy walk to all the main attractions in La Grange. I will be staying there again!!!!! =)

A deep cleaning would be great... sinks, toilets, wiping down furniture tops. The bed was fresh and clean though. It was still worth it and a great value! Close to everything!

room was large, beds comfortable, refrigerator & microwave, close by historical center, quiet.

the reception room puts a bad light on the actual separate rooms. it’s smelly and unwelcoming.

Nice Quiet Clean motel out of the way but in downtown La Grange. VERY CLEAN no bugs or critters of any kind . We stay there about 5 or 6 times a year and never had a bad , knock on wood

The stay was great, just a no frills hotel. it was clean, everything worked, beds were comfy too. Its just old but that’s what a nice motel in a small town is. as long as it’s safe, clean, and everything works it’s great!!

I can’t say enough about how awesome the Oak Motel in La Grange is! I love the historic feel of staying at a motel and this place was perfect in meeting my expectations. The beds are super comfy and the room spacious. The owners were very kind, welcoming and accommodating. If you’re looking for modern, 4 star hotel accommodations, look elsewhere because this place is as down to old school home comfortable as you can get. It’s also very close to everything and surrounded by quiet, safe neighborhoods

Bathroom could use a deep cleaning. Overall it was clean, but corners and grout on tile floor had mildew and dust build up.
