Trip for Airman graduation. Good breakfast, the staff will give you a to go bag if you are leaving before 6 (which I learned is not necessary). The base is 5 minutes away. All good fair priced / fair stay. Yes, for a little more money, there are other options nearby. It appeared this is a landing spot for Air Force families wanting to be close to the base. Good choice for just a place to stay for graduation. No kitchenette, yes microwave, yes coffee, yes, refrigerator, yes gym.. Clean and good enough to meet above average / medium level necessary needs of a hotel for graduation. Go ahead. No regrets. Nice staff. Lots of breakfast. Good memories.

The hot tub had to be closed. Had one car with occupants staying in their car for hours on end looked a tad shady (parked in the back). I did see it appeared security checked on them. You have to ask for fresh towels or snag from the spa. Nice meeting areas.

I took the family to San Antonio to go to SeaWorld. I was looking for a good hotel that fit my budget. I came across Country Inn and Suites at LAFB and was pleasantly surprised when I checked in. Room was very spacious and I loved the tile floors. I liked that the hotel is pet friendly and did not make me pay a deposit for my pet. A lot of the reviews made me skeptical about my choice of Hotel, but I was pleasantly surprised that changes have been made by the Hotel management company to rectify the problems that were listed by earlier reviewers.

There were 2 “complaints” that I had: the continental breakfast consisted of biscuits, gravy, scrambled eggs, oatmeal, and a waffle maker. Oatmeal did not have any toppings or mix ins. The other complaint was the tub did have several places where the lacquer was coming up.

I like the breakfast 😋 I love that you had an exercise room, pool, and spa, I just found out about all off that the night before my stay ended. So I just wish I could've got to enjoy the perks 😕

I didn't like that I didn't have face towels from the start. Even though I didn't put my do not disturb sign out, I didn't like that they came into my room. Truly honestly I found a dead roach in the tub and I got some tissue and investigated it and it was a roach. So yeah just thought you should know. The remote control was beat up, no back, batteries popping out.

KILLERRRRR!! my entire family loves him and I have booked three more stays here not only because this is definitely one of the nicer hotels in the area, but killer literally makes my day. And if anybody tries to get rid of him, it will be incredibly bad for business because everybody loves killer he is not aggressive at all. He is a very timid and shy street dog and this hotel is home he belongs here. I go back home to Florida, and I tell everybody about the resident dog that lives in the lobby of the hotel and it literally brings me joy just to talk about it.

The only thing that would make me not like this place is if somebody tried to relocate killer. He belongs here.

It was clean, quiet, and very close to the military base. I liked that the three pillows on the bed had different levels of firmness, because I don't like my pillows to be too hard or too soft. I was also glad the room had a mini fridge & microwave. I would've preferred for the shower to have an anti slip mat in the tub, but it was ok. Overall, I was pleased with the room, especially for the price.

The breakfast wasn't very good, but I guess I can't complain since it was free.

Location was excellent for base activities. You can quickly access downtown and surrounding areas. It was a perfect spot to assist with getting around town!

We were not greeted upon arrival. The gym was under construction. This was a very important aspect of our choice. The side entrances were supposed to be locked after 10. Two nights we came back well after hours to find the doors unlocked. These 2 minor things kept us from reviewing higher.

The staff there are amazing. Very attentive, resourceful and kind. They were very professional and caring about our stay and needs. Especially the front desk lady Anna I believe was her name. She was my favorite, I’m sure you know she definitely is a keeper and asset to your facility. Thanks again for the wonderful stay we will be back again and will be referred to, to everyone I know.

There is nothing to complain about your facility was excellent. Don’t change anything.

Breakfast was ok. We had some early mornings where we had to dash out the door so maybe a few more portable options would be helpful. Love the waffle machine! Scrambled eggs were good. Location was exactly what we needed near Lackland for ceremonies. LOVE that the room had NO carpet!

There were a few stray hairs in our bathtub but this was minimal. Overall, room was clean and comfortable for what we needed. The area around the hotel is super sketchy. I did like the nice bright lights in the parking lot and felt secure inside.

Staff was exceptional. They allowed me to keep some things there until I could check in because I am traveling with an infant. I felt much safer because they were all very mindful of us. Very friendly and I was able to joke around with a few of them. They all made this Tennessee girl feel more at home and I will absolutely be staying again. Very close to the Luke East gate at Lackland. The breakfast was pretty decent.

The housekeeping staff stayed on top of the cleaning, but the facility could definitely use some updating.

The staff was absolutely amazing. They each made us feel at home. They were so welcoming and friendly. Our rooms were comfortable and cozy. Breakfast was good and fresh. And over great stay will definitely be coming back.

The only little issue I had was with the tub. It wasn't draining properly, but it was something we all over looked. Nothing to stress over.
