Decently clean, ACs are always working great, WiFi speeds are good, pool is nice a clean, staff are nice and always available.

Beds could use a bit more cushion…we now bring our own topper to help, I’m 6ft tall and have to duck under the shower head, no elevator so its tough if your on the 2nd floor, it does smell like someone is always cooking something.

The hotel was very clean and just the right size for our trip. Everything worked and seemed practically new.

The breakfast was fine except for the fact that there was no juice only coffee. Not a big deal for our quick trip to see Texas State with my son.

I was pleased with the room, it was very clean and smelled good. the A/C worked great and everything in the room worked. the building is a little dated but don't let that fool you, my room was a great bargain for the price.

I wish breakfast was a little bigger but it was still a good breakfast. i would defiantly stay here again.

Convenient quiet! First hotel in SM that didn’t have a musty odor in the room.

Needs some updating. There was a hole in the bathroom where a shower rod had been pulled down. They should have housekeeping water mop after they use the swiffer mops because floor is sticky. A/C was really clacking clang but it cooled great.

The hospitality at this hotel was hands down the best I have ever experienced in a hotel! The staff was so kind! They all spoke to, loved on and adored the 3 puppies we were traveling with as well!

The road construction was a bit frustrating but obviously that is not the fault of the hotel nor staff in anyway!

This is a family owned establishment, so it felt very safe for a solo traveler. This chain gets a bad name, but the place was very clean. They also accommodated my early check in!

Breakfast could be better. Also, did not clean the pool after the storm during the three days I was there.

I like that it is dog friendly. This is the 2nd time that me and my dog stayed in Red Roof Inn. I also appreciate that they always give my request to put me in a room not facing the road

I did not like that your continantal breakfast is not fresh I can tell when bread, coffee has been there for days old and hours and hours no water and juices just very disappointing. I think if you would pay more attention to that I could rate it excellent. Without having to pick up your prices to stay at your hotel.

The girl at the front desk was really nice and helpful. When toilet issue was brought up, she immediately made a note of it and was ready to call someone, but I told her not to worry about it till we left. The room was spacious, and bed was really comfortable

The toilet wouldn't stop running. We told front desk just so they would be aware but told them not to worry about it till we left since it was late at night. Also the curtain in bedroom had a bit of a gap on top so a lot of light would come in, but it wasn't too bad.

Nice quiet place. Good staff.
