The location of the hotel was perfect in relation to visiting Capital Reef National Park. It is a short drive to the entrance of the park. The room was clean and comfortable. There is a "fine dining" restaurant on the premises that is only open for dinner and a "Patio" restaurant down the driveway (walking distance) for food like pizza, wings, salad, etc. We went to the Patio for dinner and ordered the pizza and chicken cutlet parmigiana sandwich. Both were good. There isn't really anything in Torrey to do other than the park. There are a few other motels, but for the most part the town is very small and there is no walking around or shopping. Just the perfect location for visiting Capital Reef National Park.

Of course, the View is Exceptional. The room was very well appointed- with fabulous colorful bedspreads. Even though we were in an isolated area, the TV reception came in Crystal Clear. We did head on over to the on-site restaurant for dinner.

When seated at the Restaurant, I noticed that the host did not ask where the guests wished to be seated (aside from the interior or the valley view). It seemed that the preference was made to the MALE and FEMALE COUPLE being escorted to the tables at the window. Yet, the same-sex guests were automatically seated at the inside tables. Nor were the multiple guests given the choice to sit at the window- even though tables could be moved to accommodate.

Beautiful scenery

I would’ve liked a restaurant menu in my room for the restaurant attached to the inn. Also it said reservations are best, so I didn’t bother trying to go to the restaurant because I assumed it would be too busy if I needed a reservation. However, when I walked by later I only saw one couple dining in there. I would take that reservation statement off the little brochure in the room to encourage more guests to eat there.

Great location just outside of Capital Reef N.P. It was a quiet and peaceful place. The staff was friendly and helpful. My favorite thing was going outside at night to look at the amazing stars. It's not completely dark with some lights from surrounding hotels, but the deck outside the attached restaurant was a great place to gaze at the stars without any more driving. The room was a bit small for more than 2 people. The beds are close to the wall so one person has to crawl in which was hard for elderly people in my group. For younger folks, it probably wouldn't be any problem.

Room was large, quiet, and very clean, the king-sized bed was extremely comfortable, the view was unbelievable, the Rim Rock Restaurant right at the end of the motel was outstanding. The national park boundary was only about a mile away. Other motels, even farther away in Torrey and Bicknell, were more expensive, sometime MUCH more expensive, but I don't think they could have given us a better experience. We weren't expecting any breakfast at all, so the coffee, tea, fruit, and granola bars were a plus for us.

A hot tub and/or a pool would have been a nice extra, but we were busy at Capitol Reef National Park and probably didn't have time for it anyway.

Enjoyed the view & chairs were available on the patio for use. Very quiet & clean. Fun southwest room decor. Great location. Appreciated the eco friendly supply of shampoo, conditioner & soap in a dispenser vs. plastic containers. Staff were helpful & friendly.

Room was small, but OK for 2 of us staying just 1 night. No refrigerator. Were unaware they offered continental breakfast until we checked out.

The beautiful surroundings is why we chose this location, the proximity to Capitol Reef was just perfect. We also liked the gorgeous breakfast options right across the street. While not free it was plentiful and affordable. I already recommended this location to several people and my husband has painted his impressions in acrylic upon return. The staff was most accommodating and friendly. I hope to return this year.

Excellent location and views over a reservoir and of Capitol Reef. The singing frogs and other critters attracted to the water were an added bonus. Staff at the restaurant were very kind and stayed open late for us, greatly appreciated!

Could hear other guests through the bedroom walls. Thankfully wasn't an issue as most people are there for outdoors exploration and went to bed early.

The location was phenomenal, minutes away from Capitol Reef. The views are also beautiful, and the room was comfortable and spacious.

The bathroom was a little dirty, but luckily I bring cleaning supplies with me so I cleaned the tub. Although not included in the amenities, this property should consider adding a mini fridge and microwave!

I felt as if the lady checking me in was an old friend of mine. We ended up upgrading to a cabin and was I happy. It's adorable, cozy and well decorated with the perfect must haves. Coffee in room is a definite plus and there was plenty of it. The porch on the front was perfect for coffee with a view. The king bed was incredibly comfortable. This is by far one of my favorite accommodations ever !!!

There's absolutely nothing for me to say here...I wish checkout wasn't at 11 because I'd stay all day ♡
