Hotel Ruby is in the heart of the entertainment district. I chose this hotel because we needed a hotel close the airport but also wanted to be able to walk to Riverside Park. There is also many restaurants in this area. We came on Sunday evening so not many concerts but still a beautiful night to see the falls. The hotel room is on the small side but the bed was very comfortable and the room was surprisingly quiet. I appreciate the custom paintings and visual appeal. Bathrooms are updated with nice amenities.

Unfortunately, the bar was closed on Sunday. :( Parking was a little tricky but the front desk person was helpful to coordinate the small parking area.

We were attending a concert at the Knitting Factory so we wanted somewhere close, Hotel Ruby fit the bill. This is an older, basic, but clean and convenient hotel. The desk staff was friendly and helpful at both checking and check out. We only spent one night, the beds were ok, not the best but definitely not the worst. The bathroom and shower were clean and has been sufficiently updated decent shower pressure and toilet flushing. They provided foam earplugs in case the outside noise was too much but we had no problems with that, our room was towards the back though, maybe others get more street noise. All in all it was a good stay, I’d book again if I needed a downtown stay.

Nothing really. Everything was as I expected. The elevator was a little small and slow but it was ok.

the location was convenient to food/etc in downtown Spokane. The uber found us easily for the concert. Not much parking at the location and it isnt really secured so was a little nervous with my Porsche but it was ok. The area all around downtown Spokane is not what is was 10 years ago and honestly I dont generally feel safe and would never feel safe as a solo woman even in the daylight in some parts. I had my friends and we were fine. I hope Spokane goes back to the beautiful city it can be. The Hotel Ruby is a throwback and they have done a great job with a 1960's Travel Lodge making it funky and fun. The staff we interacted with were fantastic and funy and helpful. 5 stars for all of them.

bed was a little soft for my liking

Great Location and the rooms were nice but small. The bed was comfortable and overall it was a great value. There is also a refrigerator in the room. I would stay here again if I was in Spokane for work and wanted to be downtown.

There's really not much to the property. Just the rooms on 3 floors around the parking lot. The bar was closed on the night I was there (Sunday). The rooms are very basic and the shower nozzle is very low for someone over 6'.

We stayed here before, and that's the reason we booked here again. The staff is so accommodating and helpful! The downtown location is perfect for exploring the Riverfront area and convenient to everything! Great choice of restaurants, a nice brewery with inside/outside seating nearby. Last time we were here, we walked to the Japenese Gardens and enjoyed the Gardens! Safe and walkable.

Great location downtown. No breakfast really, refrigerated packaged muffins and self pump coffee, it was fine. Very clean room.

First room was over cleaned with bleach and fumes forced us to another room. Be aware parking is super tight but more a short block away. The rooms are tight for two but workable.

We have been staying here for years due to the location. The sapphire Lounge downstairs is also lovely I just wish it was open on Sundays like it used to be. The staff at the front desk and the cleaning staff are friendly and great and eager to help. Some of the rooms are small but you can see that in the description and pick what you want. We picked the small ones if we're not going to be in there very much.

Staff were excellent. Room was good. Bathroom was well appointed. Location was excellent. Did not hear the sound of the trains.

Outside area was dirty and needs a good clean. Loads of cigarette ends littered the area. Steps and walkway to room had not been cleaned for sometime. This lets the hotel down.

The attendant Suzie went above and beyond what she needed to do to make us feel right at home!!! I wanted something that had hotel Ruby on it for my granddaughter ( because her name is Ruby ) so Suzie gave me her very own sweatshirt!!! I was extremely impressed. Thank you so much Suzie!!!

There wasn't anything that I didn't like !! The whole staff was extremely nice and our room was clean and comfortable!

I was surprised that my CC was charged in the early morning of the day I was to arrive. I was disappointed there is a charge for parking now and no coupon for breakfast. This is not how Ruby used to be.
