Seemed in a good part of town. Just outside of Charleston. Was right off the interstate and easy to find. The breakfast was great and the lady working it was so kind we even ended up leaving her a tip she was that great. When we booked online I guess they didn’t have that room available but called us right away and gave us a discount for having to get a different room than what we booked. Overall we had a good experience for our one night stay on the way traveling home and would not mind staying here again if we drive through that way.

Back where we had to park was halfway lit up a little dark. Does need updates but for a one or two night stay we didn’t mind it. Pool is only 5 foot deep which was a downfall for our two young kids.

I liked everything. The atmosphere, the vibes, the people.

I didn’t like that even though after hour quiet times are posted on the walls in hallways caused by a great number of children and it suck’s that theywere very inconsiderate about it. We were unable to fall asleep until 330 am and were in town for a wedding the next day. A lot of clients in the hotel also complained about it we were not the only ones I know it’s not the property’s fault, but it would be nice to get that checked out and/or have a hall monitor or something occasionally checking to make sure there were no disturbances.

loved the warm cozy fire place and tree as we walked in . staff was very nice and welcoming . the pool area great , pool tables nice touch , just wish they both stayed up all night . the pool tables once the bar/grill closes you cant go in the area . for people with teens and kids and maybe out and about all day would love to come back relax play pool and swim . have pool tables where guest can play and swim later

our Phone in our room didnt work , the carpet was stain and really needs a paint job in the bathroom in room 125. no access to pool after 10pm , and pool tables after 9pm . breakfast needs to be hotter

Breakfast was very satisfying. The woman who serves the breakfast is such a nice person too. She really goes above and beyond and treats the guests like family. I loved the layout of the hotel as well as the layout of the room. The location is excellent Sheetz is next door to refuel or grab a snack, walmart is a 2 minute drive and all kinds of restaurants are within a couple of minutes plus the casino is a 2 minute drive. I can’t imagine a hotel in that area being more ideally located. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The tv didn’t work when I checked in at night but they had it fixed the next morning.

Very few complaints. I would have preferred a coffee machine to be available all hours rather than the thermal dispenser which was running low quite a bit or was roped off after hours. In the shower i think a grab bar is a good idea and not just for older people or only in say a handicap suite. The one mattress i used may have needed to be turned or at worst replaced. It was sagging on the side furthest from the window but the pillows were very comfortable.

I enjoyed everything about the property! Location was easy to get to and right next to a Sheetz. 15 minutes from downtown. The staff was friendly and super helpful. They even had a number to text for questions and I got a response immediately. The indoor pool was great. It was actually heated and was much needed after a day of shopping. The gym was good for a hotel gym, it had an elliptical, treadmill, and free weights, along with yoga mats. The breakfast was impressive!!!, along with the staff who served it!! The property was clean! The AC worked well and the water pressure in the shower was amazing! Room was also equipped with a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. An added bonus was the bar and grill ( good food, quick service) and a little food pantry with free water!

The only issues I had were: There was still trash under the nightstand side tables. The tub had a hard time draining. The pool towels are tiny.

Loved the jacuzzi suite, the breakfast was phenomenal and loved that there was a server, the map that we received at check in with all the information on it was great! We also traveled in really late and with a 2 year old it’s sometimes hard to make check out time, they gave us a complimentary late check out of 1pm when we requested it. We loved the stay and look forward to coming again!

There was not much that we didn’t like about the property the only thing we noticed was there was some hair in the tub and on the toilet when we arrived but that can happen sometimes.

I didn't take advantage of breakfast, and I didn't use the pool. The room was next to the pool which was nice. I could hear the other guest around the pool. The actual noise was from the hallway. Many ten to twelve year old kids continually trafficking through. Overall not bad. The bathroom had ants I noticed in the morning. Probably following the unusual amount of water servicing your rooms. By the way I don't know if the Fire Marshall would appreciate the high pressure / volume of water being diverted to your property! It may leave very little to put out fires?

Large hotel - had a. Ice pool area indoors, fireplace was lite when we arrived on a very cool damp day - very inviting! The woman at the desk couldn’t have been sweeter! The only elevators were right off the lobby, however, our room, a king suite, was located at the back of the hotel! Therefore, we choose it climb the steps to arrive at our room. This hotel isn’t new and has some small tears in the wallpaper and scratches on the wall but everything looked clean - the carpeting appeared newer and didn’t have any noticeable stains! There was a nice desk with desk chair, microwave and fridge in our room along with a pull-out couch which we did not use because there was a 1/2 wall partition between the couch and our bed. The tv (too small for the area) was located in front of the bed area - so sitting on couch and watching tv wasn’t really an option! The odd thing was while there was a. Wet nice closet directly across from it was a rather small bathroom and the door would always automatically shut - just have never seen that in any other hotel/motel! Towels were soft and very clean! Now breakfast - wow - it was included - wonderful - they served you from steam table! The morning we were there there were scrambled eggs, tater tots, ham, biscuits and gravy, and cooked apples!!! It was all very good!!! Plus they had the typical cereal and the waffle makers, coffee, juice milk, tea and yogurt! Big area with extra room in the grill! Oh the bar and grill - we decided to just eat on property as everything else that interested us was 10 miles or so down the road! The girl that was bartending/cooking didn’t want to be there - not real friendly but did make us drinks and we each had the steak sandwich - definitely nothing to write home about!

Wish there was a middle elevator, a bathroom door that stayed open, the small tv and need a menu that is available on the tv!

My main attraction to this hotel was the jacuzzi room. The jacuzzi was very clean and worked wonderfully. When I saw that there were pool tables I was elated! I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The indoor pool could have been cleaner. There were several dead bugs, and the deep end had a lot of sand at the bottom. Even just putting a skimming net there for people to use would be an improvement that would have kept me in the pool. The vending machines were all down as well, but luckily they had drinks at the front desk.

It was more of a who than a what. Penny. I ran into her shortly after checking in and again the next day. She made it seem like the best, most welcoming B & B that you could ever imagine. Honestly, one of the kindest and most genuine people I have ever met. Penny was not there on our second day, and I could see a definite difference. It was a perfectly nice hotel, and the staff was friendly enough, but when Penny was there, the entire vibe was so much warmer. If I'm ever in the area again, I would stay here again because she was just that great. Thanks Penny!!! Also, the breakfast was pretty good for a standard included breakfast. They even had 2 types of breakfast gravy so that they could cater to those who did not eat pork. I haven't seen that before and thought it was very cool.
