This historic inn is in such a terrific location right on Lake Michigan. The rooms were spacious, although not modern decor, they were clean and comfortable. We enjoyed walking along the sidewalk behind the resort along the water, and enjoyed dinner and breakfast in the restaurant with the lake view. It's walking distance to the town, where we happened to be there during a blues festival - that was a treat!

Since the hotel is on the water, the rooms were a bit humid, but that probably comes with the location.

Our Lakeview room didn't face the lake. Instead, in almost any position in the room, you are looking at the brick of the other hotel rooms. Only from one angle could you look at the lake. And even then you had to be right on top of the window. That was pretty disappointing. This was room 239. In addition, at the time of booking, I could not get a room for three people with Lakeview. So instead, I had to book two rooms for three nights.

The view across the lake was wonderful. Motel was quiet, visitors were respectful, staff was friendly and helpful. Easy access for a walk along the beach was a great bonus. Walkway along the lake side of the motel is a splendid feature. Easy walking access to downtown and out to the breakwater was a real plus. Sound of the waves at night was like music to our ears.

We prefer a firmer mattress. Still, the bed we had was OK. No motel can accommodate the wide range of preferences.

Many options available for breakfast. The wait staff was great. The ice cream cones were an unexpected bonus. Lake views while eating was my favorite in the dining room and the stained glass in the entry was so beautiful. The location was perfect for all our excursions in the area. The pool and hot tub were amazing!

I sleep on a hard bed at home so the bed was softer than I like. My sister and her granddaughter had no complaints though.

I liked the family feel from the staff and location. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The location is beautiful, right on the shore of Lake Michigan. The restaurant overlooks the water and it was good food too. Bed was comfortable as well!

The room smelled a little musty and did not have a safe (that I found at least). Toiletries were minimal as well. But if that's the worst I have to say, then I think they did alright!

Best location in Two Rivers! The hotel is right on Lake Michigan, with a lovely path along the beach. Great breakfast provided with stay / lots of options. Very nice and helpful staff. Nice views of the Lake from the dining room.

Beds and furniture are very outdated and uncomfortable. We stay for the view, but wish the interior could be upgraded, as we would love to come back. May look for another place in Manitowoc for next year.

We loved hearing the waves of Lake Michigan and feeling the cool air when we opened our room window. We were so close to all the natural beauty. The proximity to Mariner’s Trail and the beach was ideal. We also enjoyed the pool, spa, and exercise room. The staff in the hotel and restaurant were so friendly and helpful.

We liked everything about The Lighthouse Inn.

Beautiful scenery. Hotel is outdated, but to us, we enjoyed the nostalgic feel of the place. Staff was very friendly and the restaurant was delicious. Had several breakfast menu items to choose for free, if not, you get $6.00 off any menu item.

Beds and pillows were not very comfortable. Having said that, we would still choose to stay here over a more modern hotel.

Loved the breakfast! We really enjoyed our room, beautiful view, really comfy. The staff was so nice and friendly. We ate both dinner and breakfast at the restaurant and enjoyed both meals. The location of this inn can't be beat. It is an older building, but we found it to be very quaint and comfortable. We will definitely be back.

I wish the room had taller chairs to sit and enjoy the view.

Location and that it had. A restaurant on site. Loved that it had a swing out by the water and nice big windows. Nice little town with plenty to see and do. I felt like I was at the ocean with the waves coming in.

Maybe offer more personal hygiene items. Hair dryer in the rooms. And the morning coffee routine is horrible. Needs a coffee/tea station!
