Property is in a stunning location , the rooms were stunning, and the staff exceptional. The staff absolutely went out of their way to help and make us feel so valued as a customer . Breakfast !!!! - the best food . We had an adjoining room, teens in attendance . We cannot speak highly enough of the accomodation and this is excellent value for money compared to travelling elsewhere. It was a luxury holiday . We stayed at the hotel for 7 nights. Delighted with the accomodation . Quite clean and excellent air con. Beautiful bathrooms . Room service meals very affordable

My only feedback would be insufficient space by the pool. We didn’t use because others had placed their towels on the loungers. A policy of not allowing people to put belongings on a lounger and then leaving would be worthwhile .

This hotel is amazing! Firstly, the room is beautiful. The beds are very comfortable and the bathroom is spacey. I wish we stayed longer in Hanoi just so we can stay in this hotel for a longer time. I love their breakfast. It has a lot of choices. Also, their staffs are so knowledgeable and friendly, especially when I wanted to book a city tour; they really go out of their own way to help. The location of the hotel is also amazing! It's basically in the middle of the Old Town, and it has 2 Michelin Guide eateries that are short walking distance from the hotel. I really recommend staying here!!

Fantastic Location in the Old Quarter. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Very comfortable and clean rooms. Very good buffet breakfast with a large selection. Good coffee.

The pastries at breakfast both mornings tasted weird, almost like the butter had gone off.

The staff at Periodot hotel is the best of the best. They really go above and beyond. Our lobby receptionist was super helpful. It was my Husband's birthday and she let the restaurant manager know about it so we received a surprise birthday cake the next morning at Break fast. The Restaurant manager went above and beyond and recommended a lovely dinner location for us. She even made sure our bookings for additional days were done for us even when we were outside of Hanoi. You really feel like you're being catered too to the full extent. The location of this hotel is right in the middle of the action but you can still have a restful night. Breakfast buffet was next level! Facilities are excellent! including pool, jacuzzi, rooftop bar and a Spa.

We loved our stay at this hotel so much that we have rebooked it for our last night in Hanoi. Perfectly located in the Old Quarter with the most wonderful staff, we loved everything about this hotel. Very comfortable bed with gorgeous bed linen, great shower and lovely areas to relax and enjoy. We had great drinks up at the rooftop bar, and lots of breakfast options to choose from each morning. All of the staff were exceptional but we’d like to mention Helen and Julie specifically as really making us feel so very special during our stay.

Our room only had a small window so the room felt a little dark. To be honest, this didn’t bother us too much as we spent the majority of our time exploring the city.

Our stay here was great! The staff were excellent and very helpful, the room was lovely, the breakfast excellent, and the bed very comfy. We used the spa facilities too and they were very fantastic and decent priced. We would definitely recommend this to anyone travelling to Hanoi

We were on one of the top floors, which was close to the rooftop bar and could hear the music. We did just come in from a long flight so were able to sleep right through it. The rooftop bar itself and the drinks were amazing, but if you don’t want to hear the music, make sure to get a room on one of the middle or lower floors.

The facilities were excellent and very well maintained. The attitude of the staff was wonderful and they went out of their way to make our stay extremely comfortable. The breakfast offering is varied and delicious. We were very happy with our experience overall. The spa is exceptional and the rooftop terrace is also a great place to have a drink.

The only negative is that the rooms do not have a very good view given the hotel is located in a very busy area of the old quarter however the interiors are well thought out and make up for the lack of view

This hotel is beautifully presented and they gave a wonderful welcome on our arrival. Eliana was so kind and helpful during our trip. The staff at breakfast and at the rooftop bar were extremely friendly. The bed was very comfortable and the room well appointed. Breakfast had great variety.

The listing for the room says that a bath and shower is included although our room just had a shower which was slightly disappointing. However, I must point out that because we were so busy I didn't raise this so the hotel had no chance to comment or rectify this. The room and bathroom were still lovely so this is a minor gripe.

The location is outstanding if you want to explore the old quarter and see the citadel and mausoleum etc. You are properly in the middle of Hanoi with all the traffic and the buzz. Hotel was clean, staff were professional and friendly, decor of the hotel was great and the breakfast buffet had a great selection! Bed was comfy, airco worked just fine, we were very happy with our stay in Hanoi with Peridot. Everything went very well here and I would stay here again the next time we visit.

This is not a complaint per se, soundproofing could perhaps be improved but nothing that cannot be fixed with earplugs. We stayed on the 8th floor and the sound from the motorbikes is not so bad - but then what do you expect if you stay in the old quarter? There is always noise in Hanoi - so you may want to bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. For us this was fine.

This hotel certainly has the wow factor when you enter! Staff were extremely helpful and our room (Luxury Suite) was big and very well appointed. Food at the basement restaurant (dinner) was delicious and the buffet breakfast was very diverse and impressive. We loved staying here.
