This accommodation was simply stunning. It was my first visit of Vietnam and HCMC, so I did not quite know what to expect. But from the first moment, when I stepped into the small alley where this accommodation is located, I was impressed. The lady waited for me until 22:00 (my bus did not arrive, so after 1 hour of waiting at the airport, I had to take a taxi...), was very kind and helpful. The room was very spacious - actually for 3 people, but I was there alone. It was on the 4th floor (no elevator in the building), but no problem for me. :) The alley is super narrow, full of small restaurants, similar hotels and shops, and I liked it very much. The accommodation is located right next to Bui Vien walking street, but I was so surprised that my room was so quiet, even despite I could hear some beats from that street (like it was 1 km away) - so my sleep was great. :) Regarding the quality of materials (bed quality, furniture, bathroom, etc.), it corresponds with the price you pay. If you want something more modern, go better to another place. - 7/11 - 20m from the place - Local family restaurants - 10m from the place - Hop On/Off bus stop for sightseeing - 20m from the place - Most visited walking street Bui Vien - 50m from the place - The location cannot be better!!! All in all, I was impressed and 100% satisfied with everything! Thank you!

There is nothing I can complain about.

We were 2 adults and children in a family room with a double bed and two singles. The room was spacious and well air conditioned - No mosquitoes! The bathroom is a wet room which is fine for purpose. The staff were friendly and organised airport transfers no problem. The location can’t be beaten, within walking distance to the main city sites and in District 1 so tour groups will do pick ups at the end of the alley. There are many restaurants in the area that cater for western appetites and there is a 7/11 about 20m away. But the best place was the humble Vietnamese restaurant across the alley - the husband/wife team start cooking at dawn and their food is delicious.

The value for money for undemanding travellers. All necessary services are nearby( money exchange, convenience stores, supermarket, VR bank (MIR atm)). There are two parks and walking streets close to the hotel.

No laundry (provided with a basin for handwashing though). The table and chair are very low and uncomfortable to use for work. Do not leave your valuables in the room.

Firstly the room is big and clean. Nice hotel. I stayed 4 days, they do come and make my bed. Often I stay in some hotel they don't clean rooms. Location is good right in middle of Pham ngu lao district. Friendly staff. Room size is big as well.

1 big problem, there is no lift. My room is level 4. So if you don't like to climb stairs, this would be a problem. But if you don't mind, then the room is really nice.

It's on a quiet quaint street but in the heart of the travellers area which felt clean and safe. Very large comfortable (firm) double bed. Decent curtains (not quite blackout). Plenty of hot water. The lady on reception was always smiling and eager to help with anything even when we'd woken her up. Cleaning service for room and made bed everyday and there's a laundry service for the same price as anywhere else etc. There's a great little cheap street bar just at the end of the street to meet people at. Three flights of stairs kept us fit too 😂

Had a kettle but no coffee sachets, and no bedside table on one side of the bed.

I like that it is within 3 mins walking distance to Bui Vien walking street and I could head out to the street to bask in the New Year atmosphere even when I headed out about 5 mins before the countdown. The hotel served up a good bowl of pho on New Year's day upon request and I was blessed to have gotten it for free! There are affordable eating options along the alley that my hotel was situated in so I really didn't need to worry about going hungry. Convenience stores, cafes, restaurants, pubs, eateries etc. were also accessible just beyond the alley (Bui Vien) and I could get to Ben Thanh market on foot within 10 mins minus the struggle with the heavy motorcycle traffic. The room was value for money too and the hotel staffs were approachable.

There are no lifts and my room was on the 4th floor so if you have any heavy bags it would prove to be a mini cardio workout for you everytime. Soundproofing wasn't the most terrific either but I was not too disturbed by the noise outside. Everything else is good for me otherwise!

I was upgraded to a large room on 1st floor. The room was very big with 2 huge beds, large tv, fridge, kettle, mini bar and hot shower. There was a window to the rear that you could open but it only looked out onto a service corridor....no view but also no noise. Curtains kept out the light. I didnt hear anything from the street or bars. Check in was easy, the lady did not speak english but I showed her reservation and paid and received key. The place smelt lovely, rooms fresh and clean. I smoke but no way did I want to ruin the fresh smell so I went outside to have a cigarette. I would say one of the best places I have stayed in D1 in 14 years of travelling here.

It was a little difficult to find as it looks like a cafe from outside and beauty house sign was small. No big problem if you take time to look.

Large, clean, airy and light room. Very quiet (except Saturday) located down a small alley that has a good selection of nice/local restaurants nearby.

No drinking water, TV doesn’t work, need your own login to use Netflix. A homestay, with its own restaurant, that doesn’t open for breakfast (before 9:00am). I guess maybe they work late… doesn’t give in-house guest discount for dining as advertised A lot of street noise on Saturday night

Whery big room...excellent location 50m from Biu Vien party street, but located in a small quiet street..which was very nice in the morning..Staff very friendly even when I arrived late at 11pm .I recommend to all who want to spend nite in Bui Vien area ..but want to spend silly money on a nice room )) Thank you Beauty house.. The owner of this guesthouse is so sweet and helpful. We were able to book our onward bus tickets through her and she also did our laundry for a reasonable price. The room is large, bright and comfortable. The bed was really comfortable too. The location is fantastic; it's near enough to Bui Vien street (minutes away!) but far enough away that you don't get the noise. It's close to nice bars, cafes and restaurants.

There was often no hot water in the morning (but it did work well at night).
