Incredible location, right on the beach. Amazing staff. The breakfast was wonderful.

It would have been great if there were boat trips available to Starfish beach.

Great location, on the beachfront. Restaurant is fantastic, wonderful food options and we didn't feel the need to go elsewhere for any meals. Very kindly upgraded our room to the beachfront, comfortable beds.

One staff member made us feel quite uncomfortable early on when we requested bottled water, somewhat lecturing us about the environmental impact despite us explaining that we'd gotten sick already in our trip from what we were told was safe. Would have appreciated more understanding and less judgment in this situation. There is still a lot of works going on which is fine, but little things could make the stay better e.g. better lighting on the walkways to rooms and more stable walkways.

Peppercorn Beach Hotel is located quite a distance away from the touristic hubs of Phu Quoc, next to a fishermen´s village. When exploring the area around it you get an impression of the real life conditions of living on this island. We stayed there during the windy season in November when it was tough to get into the sea due to strong waves. The off-season atmosphere when the hotel also wasn´t overcrowded made it all the more relaxing for us. The hotel´s staff is very attentive and kind, giving you the feel of a family pension and providing more personal insights. Food at the restaurant, which has an open kitchen, was truly excellent and couldn´t have been fresher or more tasty – fantastic! When for personal reasons we had to cut our stay one day short, the manager didn´t charge us for the last night. A truly generous gesture.

The staff were really lovely. The location is stunning too. If you like being away from tourist areas, this is great. The view from the beach/sea is really special and you feel as though you are truly with nature. The sea water is so clear and having free kayaks, snorkelling gear etc is an absolute bonus. There are also plenty of board games free to use and this hotel catered so well for children. The room was also very spacious and nicely designed. The food is also fantastic. All freshly cooked - including freshly baked sourdough each morning.

I wish I had booked a sea view property and spent the money on this. Our room was lovely but I was envious of those beach front rooms as they face directly towards the sea. They also have their own sun loungers that is an added bonus. For those guests booked into garden view properties the only seating seemed to be on wooden benches/chairs other than the loungers by the pool.

After 2 weeks of travelling around Vietnam we wanted to relax. This is the place to it. It was quiet and beautiful. We enjoyed delicious food and swimming in the clear water. The massage I had was the best I’d experienced. The staff are so caring and thoughtful. Nothing was a problem.

This is an incredible hotel with a fantastic setting. We booked a family room which was spacious and extremely clean - although it was a garden room, you could see the ocean from the front terrace which was lovely. The staff were just amazing - they were so attentive and couldn’t do enough for us. We were the only guests there at the time with it being low season, but the staff were always on hand. They couldn’t have been more helpful. The hotel is immaculate and extremely well- maintained. It is a beachfront property and as other reviews have pointed out, there is a stone embankment dividing the sand from the sea but this didn’t bother us at all. The hotel has kayaks and snorkel equipment to use free of charge. They also have a wide range of board games which coke in handy when it rained. We ate at the hotel as there’s not much nearby. The food was fantastic and breakfast was incredible! Everything is made to order and very fresh. The whole stay was idyllic - if a peaceful, tranquil hotel which looks out to the sea is the type of stay you are looking for, we’d wholeheartedly recommend Peppercorn.

We had an apartment 10 meters from the beach front. Very nice garden behind the apartment. Very tasty and varied, homemade breakfast. Extremely polite and responsive staff. At the time of our stay we were alone in the entire resort

The beach in front of the apartment was terminated by a protective stone wall against the influence of the waves, which was not good from the point of view of the visitor's perception of the beach. Another negative was the 3 wooden huts standing in the water and the crayfish pots around them. Also, when entering the water, one had to be careful of the rocks that were here and there in the sand.

One of my best hotel in Vietnam ! The location is perfect for avoiding the tourist crowd but you can still meet people around if you want. I don't see flaws, everything was really good : cleanliness, restaurant, bar, private beach, tours...It's not a resort so you really have this warm feeling when you arrive. The staff was very professional and with a high sense of customer service, that was really pleasant. Keep doing well !

The location is quite remote, but that's what I was looking, and you can do everything with a taxi. And maybe give a new life to your gym.

The resort has an amazing remote location and the view from the rooms at the beach is just stunning. The beds were most comfy and the style of the rooms is nice an cosy. The staff was wonderful and always helpful. They arranged the scooter rental as well as airport transfer. The food was tasty and the breakfast choices are more than sufficient.

Initially we thought that there is a “real” beach in front of the rooms - however it is an embankment with some stairs. Still beautiful The areal (between bungalows and main building) could have some clean-up / refurbishment but they are already busy with it
