This resort truly lives up to its name! The beachfront location offers breathtaking sunsets every night. We spent most days relaxing on the beach with cocktails from the Sunset Beach Bar (highly recommend the Dark captain!). Mr. Andy was incredibly friendly and helpful, arranging scooter rentals and suggesting delicious local restaurants.

Excellent location, fantastic view from the room. This is a proper beachfront hotel. Went straight to the beach after checking in. The staffs are so honest & accommodating. No a single frown or sulky face. The property is kept clean. They kept adding bean bags for guest at the beach. Definitely one of the best in the island. Breakfast spread was good. Good balance of local & western cuisine. I left my Oakley shades behind and they informed me they found it. There’s a couple of restaurants and even a grocery shop within 2minutes of walking.

Nice and clean hotel with small private beach (other public part of the beach near the hotel is not very well looked after), staffs are very helpful and can help you book ticket to Vin Safari and guide you to the free bus service provided by Vinpearl. Buffet breakfast changing daily with good mix of Asian and Continental options. The hotel is close to centre with many restaurants and shops nearby, but if you want to go to night market would still need a taxi (~30,000k VND)

The bar in front of the hotel plays loud music until 1am everyday, they have exterior speaker and don't fully close the bar door so a lot of base sound goes around the hotel, making it difficult for guests to sleep.

Really great location. The beach is only 2 minutes away. It's not crowded. We got a free upgrade and received their nice corner room. The bed, especially the pillows, were good. Nice view. The staff were very kind. However they could improve their English skills.

It's a shame we can't hang our swimwear on the balcony. You get a fine. It's was really hard to dry our clothes. Suggestion: Maybe there could be a drying rack with clips

Sunset Beach Resort felt like a hidden gem on Phu Quoc. The beachfront location was serene, the sunsets were magical, and the fire shows were a unique experience. We were particularly impressed with the food! The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of fresh options, and the beachfront restaurant offered delicious local and international dishes. We even had a romantic beachfront dinner on the last night, which was perfect

As a also traveler, I often feel a bit awkward at resorts. However, Sunset Beach Resort was incredibly welcoming. The staff was friendly and chatty, making me feel comfortable and included. The beachfront location offered beautiful views and plenty of space to relax. The fire shows were a fun nightly activity, and I even met some fellow travelers to enjoy them with. Highly recommend for solo

hotel is ok - I can agree to many comments - room nice - every day new towels . Kimono was fresh and also changed frequently. All the staff very friendly and fixed issues very fast . We had some ants 🐜 but immediately took care to remove . The hotel is direct at the beach , pool is very nice , beach 🏖️ nice and clean . The bar is nice - music in the upper level not disturbing. Aircon works well . shuttle service to airport- top.

no furniture on the wonderful balcony - need to book higher category - That’s not understandable! Crowded breakfast hall - quality level ok - coffee ☕️ is bad - need order and pay extra but only if the bar open . Needed to argue to get towels for beach 🏝️ visit . Some guests are very loud also during night - nobody really controlling that .

We had the panorama view Deluxe room in the A-building and the views were amazing. The hotel service itself was rather basic compared to other 3-4 star hotels. The breakfast was good and so was the private beach and the pool. There was daily some music at the beach and some activities. The location from the hotel to the night market was less than 2km, if you rent a motorcycle then you can get around quite easily.

The gym didn’t have an integrated ac, which made training quite challenging due to having only one fan. We had to swap it with my husband repeatedly. The gym and the pools are open until 7pm which is not late for night owls like us.

great layout... pool and beach. plenty of local restaurants within 5-10 minutes walk . we had a fantastic suite with panoramic view. however strange layout in the room .... with the wc in the shower area. wash basins were behind the bed outside the shower room.

very much catering for Vietnamese clientele and only a few European clients. more families with young children than expected. hotel restaurant was expensive and therefore empty every night. bar music and entertainment was good but bar was empty after happy hour as the Vietnamese don’t drink alcohol.
