Location was great - easy access to beach and boardwalk. The two pools were great - one more suitable for families and the other for swimmers. The decor and amazing photographs were a treat. Food was excellent. We were especially pleased by the helpful service of Zeltzin, Fritz and Chris in the lobby check-in, and Junior Phillips did us a big favor when we had trouble getting room service - taking it upon himself to order and deliver our late-night food. Daily cleaning service was very good. Pianists in lobby at night were delightful - one took requests!

Two minor inconveniences - our room phone didn't work properly and we couldn't lock the door to our balcony.

The hotel is beautiful and set on the prestigious South Beach. The staff were attentive and very helpful. The Carlton Cafe was great but we never managed the main restaurant. The lobby bar was good too.

Personally as a European, the prices of alcohol and food in Miami Beach were extortionate for basically average food. It left a bad feeling, especially when you are paying 5 times the price for an average beer. The mandatory 20% service charge on everything was beyond the pale and the excuse of “well that’s Miami” isn’t good enough. I would suggest that the city is acting as a cabal with this kind of behaviour. I am in Tampa at this moment, so it’s not the same everywhere. In the long run this will put off tourists

Absolutely nothing. The Betsy is a wonderful hotel. I highly recommend it.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, on arrival they offered us complimentary bottles of water and a glass of prosecco. The room was spacious and clean. The location was excellent, just across the road from the beach with a range of restaurants just steps away including a Starbucks opposite. Included in our stay was the use of beach loungers, parasol and towels which were all provided on the beach.

We heard a lot of noise from the street sitting on our balcony. The route to our room from reception was very convoluted and involved getting two different elevators and navigating a couple of corridors in between.

The Betsy is a super cute little hotel at the end of South Beach. We were traveling in October so we did not get to enjoy many of the amenities the hotel had to offer due to weather. Our room was lovely and clean. The staff was kind and helpful. It seems like the perfect location for a girls trip or couples get away! We enjoyed our room service as well!

The hotel was not clear and the pool was closed which was one of the reasons we chose the Betsy so that was disappointing but hopefully will be back open soon! It is a wonderful area that would be nice to walk around, I was unaware of the traffic in Miami so things take a bit longer to get to and it is somewhat difficult for a Uber to find the hotel but not necessarily a negative.

I come to Miami with my daughter who wanted to visit Miami for so long . When booking for the first time and not knowing where to stay mostly because of the safety reasons ,I was going back and forth between Betsy and one I won’t named hotel name but luxury well know one when we got there we realize that couldn’t made a more perfect Choice then staying at the Betsy!!!!!!.. from the moment we come felt super welcomed by everyone specially lovely gentlemen named Gustavo on the front desk, got room earlier then we booked what made us beyond happy and super thankful to be able . Frizzier and Jackie thanks !! Food in the hotel restaurant amazing,hotel pool super clean and rooftop one unbelievable view , rooms great but LOCATION!!! I mean there is no other place with a better one... if you just stay on Ocean dr. You are good everything walking distance across from hotel amazing Starbucks if you feel like t have one which we did every morning lol.. beach stunning and they provide umbrella and lounging chairs to relax with the towels which made a whole difference... stunning place to take a photos my daughter couldn’t stop now she is saying mom all of my Friends wanna come here ,... but last night there we went to just try a restaurant in that luxury hotel I mentioned before just to see how It’s is and truly beautiful place with a amazing food but location hell NO... walking on that street with all the stores and stuff attracted not safe and desirable people to meet when you are woman with a kid on the street... We couldn’t wait to be on the Ocean dr. At The Betsy And one more time got confirmation that we chose the most amazing hotel that we possibly could thank you to Betsy for giving my daughter and-me the most unforgettable vacation and like my daughter said mom this is the best time of my life and for a teenager to say that I know I did great as a mom. Not being able to stay longer ...

I want to thank Joanny, Fritz, Paul, Sidd, Nath, and the entire Betsy Hotel team for a magnificent stay. I spent 5 days and 4 nights at The Betsy on a solo rejuvenation trip. From the moment I checked in until I left, everyone was so kind and accommodating. Upon arrival, I was greeted with a glass of champagne and allowed to check in a bit earlier than the usual check-in time. I spent most of my time at the beach, enjoying the chair and towel service that came with my stay. When I wasn’t at the beach, I dined at their restaurant, which had plenty of delicious gluten free options for me. I plan to be a regular visitor here. It was just what I needed.

I would have liked for the rooftop pool to be open longer.

Perfect location. Gorgeous hotel and decor. Great drinks in the bar (get the rose sangria!) Sophisticated vibe. Good live music. Great pools (x2) Really friendly front desk male staff members Directly opposite a Starbucks which was great for jet lag!

The property is quite confusing to get around! Even on day 5 we were still unsure which lifts to take. The hotel has a slightly older crowd and sometimes we felt a bit judged for walking in off the beach! Sometimes quite confusing to get a table outside if you are guests as usually says reserved on most tables! Service a bit slow outside with not the friendliest female staff A little expensive compared to nearby hotels

My girlfriend and I had a seaview double room at the third floor. The room size was good for a one week stay and the beds were very comfortable. The location of the hotel is amazing. The hotel is at the end of Ocean Drive which was very quiet as no cars were allowed to drive there, also no loud music or party people. Furthermore the beach was a few steps away almost in front of the hotel. The hotel has such a great character with all the art in the floors from artists that personally joined the Rolling Stones and the Beatles and photographed them on their tours. You can feel the hotel owners love for details which reflects in the interior design but also their love for dogs. Special thanks to the concierges Art and Paul, both were very kind and helpful, they gave us very good informations about the Miami Beach and Miami area, the restaurants and sightseeings. Also they were very attentive. Further thanks to Pamela, Robbi and Jorge for serving us with delicious drinks and their open conversations. Last but not least we would like to thank Rene and Ana and the rest of the team for their kindness and being so attentive with us.

No complaints about the hotel for us everything was perfect and well organized.

My wife and I spent 4 nights at the Betsy hotel as part of our honeymoon and both of us can say that our expectations have clearly been exceeded. As I have been to Miami Beach multiple times in various hotels I can tell that the Betsy Hotel clearly is at least one (rather two) class above all other hotels I have seen or experienced at or close to Ocean Drive so far. We had booked a balcony suite, we is located in the rear part of the building. Getting there takes a longer walk than expected, but a great benefit is that the suite was very calm. One of the biggest assets of Betsy is the very friendly and helpful staff - starting from a very warm and personal welcome, to the staff at breakfast up to the bartender at the roof pool bar. The (paid) breakfast options were rich and tasty and the drinks at the roof pool bar (in particular the fresh pinapple cocktail) were excellent. As the part of Ocean Drive where the Betsy is located has been closed for motor traffic (not sure whether this is a permanent closure?), it is definitively an ideal spot if you want to be close to where the parties happen but still want to be in a quiet spot. An extra benefit are the free beach towels, beach seats and umbrellas as guest of Betsy.

Yes, the price for a room appears to be quite high, e.g. compared to hotel prices in European cities like London and Paris. However, this is not specific to the Betsy but applies to all hotels in that area. What I can clearly state is that the extra money you pay at the Betsy hotel compared to most other hotels at Ocean Drive is more than justified and I had no doubt that I am getting the extra value I have paid for. If you want great quality in that area take some extra bucks in you hands and invest it for an outstanding stay at Betsy.
