Luana Waikiki Hotel & Suites has very nice rooms and we had a nice view of the Ocean. The hotel gym was decent and staff were all very helpful. Location is good and only a short walk through the park to the beach. They also run several free events for guests staying there like a weekly wine and cheese.

There are quite a few homeless people in the area which can result in the neighborhood streets getting very dirty and being threatened or shouted at etc. That is not the hotels problem, it is a problem in Oahu in general, but the street they are located on seems particularly bad for central Waikiki.

The location is a little further away from the hustle & bustle of Waikiki beach, which was perfect for us. The distance is easily walkable though. The room was spacious and the kitchen was well-equipped. I wish they had a microwave or kettle that could have been used to boil water. Both Waikiki Beach and Ala Moana Beach is in walking distance.

The apartment was clean and serviced every second day. Housekeeping was responsive. Location was as great with an ABC store just across the street and close to other shops within 5-10 minutes walk. Small pool but 7-10 minutes walk to Waikiki beach. Staff were all friendly. We would highly recommend this place. It was worth the money and they were able to accommodate for an early check in for a fee as our flight came in before 6am which helped a great lot. Thank you Luana team for making our stay comfortable and enjoyable.

Clean comfortable rooms and bed, great facilities and staff, location, so great we came back after a week at the end of our trip before flight home.

This hotel is in a good location if you don't plan on using a car but just going to the beach and walking around the area. There is a military museum right next to the hotel as well as lots of shops and cafes. The room we had was spacious and comfortable with a great selection of TV channels, of course if you're staying in a hotel room although I don't think anyone would stay in a room when in Hawaii. Even though we were on a lower floor and the room faced the street we didn't hear too much noise. The room was clean and had everything you needed to cook basic meals, a small kitchen with everything you need. The pool is ok but you have to be careful if you're not a swimmer as one part is shallow and then you go straight into the deeper part. The gym is small but has everything you need to stay in shape. You also have a barbecue area which I highly recommend as you can have a barbecue with your family and enjoy the view of the park. The hotel staff are excellent and all praise for them. If all hotels had such smiling and helpful staff, no hotel guest would ever be dissatisfied with the service. They deserve all the praise and a pay raise.

Pool was good, but more for adults due to depth than for children. Gym was excellent a good range of free weights and treadmills. The room was comfy, we have a kitchen which was handy to cook with. Mike at reception was awesome gave me some good tips about where to visit. Close to Waikiki beach and lots of shops nearby. Also on certain days of the week at 5pm they have Luau show which was free! They also let you loan one of two fish from reception for your child to take care of, our 4 yaar old Loved it! Laundry was down stairs and coin operated. Would definitely come back.

Great location, near the beach and downtown Honolulu while still being away from the noise. The views from the balcony are beautiful. The hotel looks out on a park and you can see the beach. We were able to watch the Friday fireworks from our balcony and it was spectacular! The staff are very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the manager’s welcome reception with wine, beer, cheese, ukelele music, and hula!

The furnishings in the rooms are getting old, so they could use some upgrading. But the rooms are very clean and well-kept by the cleaning staff.

the location is perfect..we went to the Diamond Head monument trail, pearl harbor and waikiki. waikiki beach and this district with lots of boutiques and restaurants is within a short walk, the other mentioned places are quite a short ride by uber. hotel was nice, clean, staff was helpful, room was spacious with comfy beds. drinking water available all day at front desk

the deposit they block on your card is a 1000 usd even for a one night stay, I found that quite odd, we checked out the pool and it's pretty small and nothing special,so is the gym.

The hotel we checked into a different hotel that did not meet our expectations. We immediately looked for somewhere else to stay. We found this hotel on booking.com and it had very high ratings. As soon as we arrived at the hotel we were impressed. The hotel was beautiful. It even smelled nice. Very classy without being overly fancy. All of the staff members were courteous. When we arrived in our room we were blown away at how nice it was. It was very spacious. It had a kitchen which had everything we needed to make a few simple meals.

We wished the hotel had a hot tub, but this did not affect our feeling about the hotel

Close to the waikiki beach(literally 10-12 mins of walk) Perfectly balanced as it is at the beginning of the strip that allows to you to check out the full strip Very friendly staff. Talk with Mike from evening/night shift he is well informed and help you suggest some cool places(some are not popular on instagram but worth to visit) and ways to reach there. Super friendly, helpful and humorous human being.
