Great location, free parking across the street, amazing breakfast buffet, friendly staff.

Room was quite small and a bit dark. Definitely felt like a retirement home hotel with mostly older clientele.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this stunning beachfront hotel, and it was an experience to remember! From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the breathtaking views of the ocean. The location is perfect, offering a serene and picturesque setting that is ideal for a relaxing getaway. The rooms are spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with large windows that provide panoramic views of the beach. Waking up to the sound of waves and the sight of the sunrise over the water was truly magical. The food at the hotel is exceptional. The on-site restaurant offers a diverse menu with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Every meal was a delight, from the hearty breakfasts to the exquisite dinners. The seafood dishes, in particular, were outstanding and a must-try. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. Their warm hospitality made me feel right at home. Whether you’re looking to unwind by the beach, enjoy delicious food, or simply take in the stunning views, this hotel has it all. I can’t recommend it highly enough and can’t wait to return!

I loved the reception area, old fashioned and classic style. I really liked the bar area inside for a quiet drink for the same reasons. I loved my room though so expensive and quite small but it had a beautiful view of the sea and was right on the prom.

The outside seating area with grey dull furniture was one of the most underwhelming properties on the promenade. I thought it was so wasted a spot. Plastic chairs not bright and inviting at all. We are in this spot once. Lunch food/tapas very basic. The breakfast itself was good but i couldn’t get over how noisy and abrupt the kitchen staff were as they went about their business. No friendly nod or common courtesy extended if you happened to be at the buffet and they needed to refill. Breakfast clanging and cashing of crockery etc was unsettling, not keeping with the vibe of the hotel!

The accessibility for the beach , town and market. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are very comfortable with tv, fridge, and balcony. The bar and terrace were very useful, if service a bit slow.

The breakfasts cater for many people, but apart from the change in fruit, there was only scrambled eggs. I would really have liked a boiled egg, even if it was cold. Finishing breakfast at 10am low season, and 10.30 high season seems a bit early if you want a lie in!

After we had upgraded our room we got a sea facing balcony which was very lovely but quite a lot more money than we had originally paid. Good private secure paid for parking facilities both on hotel premises but also massive parking just over the road which I think were free

I think it is due modernisation but it is a lovely old style sea front Spanish hotel with old style charm

Great location right on the beach in Roses. Lots of good restaurants along the waterfront to choose from, and a terrific sunset view from our 'partial' ocean view room (great view, in fact)! Staff was very helpful and welcoming, and the breakfast buffet included with the room was excellent!

The bathroom was a little dated, but very clean. Otherwise everything was great. I think it is probably one of the older hotels in the area, but it has a lot more character than the newer properties nearby.

The location of the hotel is just perfect - a few steps from the beach and easy to get to the town. We loved breakfast - the selection and quality were great. The pool is lovely too - it's at the back of the hotel (next to the parking lot and street) so that's a bit strange and noisy...but the pool itself is really nice. Staff were also very friendly and welcoming, for the most part (the guy at reception was not - barely cracked a smile when we were checking in), however, dining room staff and waiters were all lovely and made up for it.

We got the standard economy room - reasonably priced for mid-August I guess and we were not expecting anything fancy (no balcony, terrace, room with a view etc). However...it was very tiny and without any ventilation - first-floor interior - so the window looks onto a tiny courtyard floor just across from storage rooms of some sort and a passage window. The air is stuffy and there is no light. The shower is also ridiculously small - and we're not big people.

We were given the best room in the house (my opinion anyway), it was expensive but amazing views right up and down the boulevard and beach from our balcony. The hotel is quite old but beautiful, we were very happy to be able to spend 3 nights here.

My only comment would be for the restaurant at dinner time. Where we come from, water is freely available everywhere. Here, they close down the machine in the evening that dispenses water and you have to buy it by the bottle. I understand that drinks are not included in the buffet price... but I still think that water should be freely available for those that want it.

We upgraded to a full ocean view room with a large balcony for 30 euros extra per day. As the hotel is steps from the beach, it was well worth the extra money. Right on the beach, with full beach access. The beach is beautiful. You can walk and/or swim for miles. It is shallow quite a ways out, easy to get in and out and float around or swim. Beach super clean and not too crowded. Breakfast buffet with included with tons of food options and beverages.

They offered beach lounges for 10 euros a day, including a drink, but only on the grass area adjacent to the beach. No lounges, chairs, umbrellas or towels available for use on beach. We ended up buying a large pareo and used it as a big beach towel. Also, old style bathtub situation with a good shower head though, and shower curtain.

Post injury, I needed a hotel close to my physio and chose this hotel. If I could give this hotel 10 star, I would! For the amazing staff that went above and beyond to help and support me every single day. From the front desk to the cleaning team, and in particular the restaurant staff who I am forever grateful for their kindness, professionalism and always helping me before asking for it. I warmly recommend this hotel, not only for the great location but for the best people I’ve encountered!
