The price on booking.com was inclusive of taxes but upon checking in i was told it wasn’t inclusive of taxes and i had to pay extra yet i hadn’t budgeted for that!

the breakfast was truly enjoyable. It was evident that a lot of care went into preparing such a delightful spread. That said, I couldn’t help but feel it would be even more special if there were a few local Zimbabwean touches—like mbambaira or madhumbe etc. These nostalgic flavors would bring a comforting sense of home and heritage to the table. Thank you for the warm hospitality and for creating such a memorable experience.

nothing. if chairs can be put on the outside of the Lakeview rooms so guests can enjoy the beautiful views and fully take in the scenery.

The environment is absolutely beautiful. The air you breathe changes and very different from Harare. The rooms were clean. The food was okay, could do with more spice in the food. Three days was okay but needed another day to explore the Eastern Highlands in Zimbabwe .

The property has character and so is the security guards on the gate who welcomed us in a a very unique way. Initially we thought the security guard was a comedian however we soon learned that the guards are trained to give the guest a dramatic welcome. I loved this part of our stay.

1. Noise from Lawn mowing early in the morning. 2. We were not informed in advance that we needed to book dinner tables for the Christmas dinner. It was very frustrating, although they later prepared a table for us 3. The chairs at the Beck restaurant are no longer firm.

The environment is good

They charged me $50 more. Ever since I used booking.com I have never charged money on top but this hotel toom mo money from me. And their dinning room is small they tell us to wait for some people to finish eating so that others can get in. They have to extend d their dinning room since they know that their customers are too many. So.e of us would have kids and if their eating time passed they will not eat properly.

We enjoyed our stay at Troutbeck, a classic hotel surrounded by beautiful landscapes. Despite a booking mix-up, Margeret and Melnisha assisted us and ensured that our expectations were met. The food was excellent and wholesome. Our room was spacious and clean. We received a hamper, which was well appreciated. We will be back.

The rooms we had could be better especially the ones on the old ring.the carpet in the corridor smelt of damp .The hotel could do with another restaurant as the Becks was overwhelmed.Forward planning needed to address this in peak seasons .

Beautiful location in the mountains. Troutbeck is very familiar to us. Enjoyed the new look.

As it was winter the newly tiled floors, particularly in the lounge perhaps could do with a few rugs. The duvet in our room was not wide enough to hang over the edges of the bed. Property in and outside looked freshly painted and was well kept.

They gave us adjoining rooms I could easily check up on my kids..and they had constant running hot water in the shower...they also have a play area..for the kids...a very family friendly environment...I would go back again and again..if I could

The dinner buffet could use some improvements

The location is amazing, the hotel has a lot of Activities. Breakfast was amazing with different options

Food, the Buffet dinner on our first night was not good. It was below our expectations. With such a beautiful hotel like that, food mustn't be that bad
